AFAIK If DS2 uses VAC there won't be a DS2fix
It doesn't have VAC, it would have been up on the Steam page if it did.

Found on the internet. Might be real, might be fake
Options look very pleasing.
Only thing that worries me now is the state of the lighting.
What do they mean by model quality? Character models or generally all geometry stuff?
That makes sense. I was wondering if there was anything noticeable about character models other than the player which might be improved in the PC version.I'm willing to bet the character rendering settings have to do with LOD, since in Dark Souls 2 the further things away are from you, their animations looks like they run at 5 fps. It's worse than Demon's Souls and Dark Souls.

GiantBomb is 99.9% sure to have footage of the PC version this week.
thanks for the info.
Will be looking forward to giantbombs re/preview

Wow, really, can't wait for that.GiantBomb is 99.9% sure to have footage of the PC version this week.
Actually, I dunno if it was all a dream or not, but I'm positive I read a tweet from one of the GB guys strongly hinting that they'd have something to show from the PC port this week. I'm flabbergasted.

It's in this thread....
Having the option to disable camera motion blur is good but the best thing is to disable motion blur all together. DS1 had some ugly ass motion blur.
I have not tried to go all the way through yet, I don't get paid for another week or so and should save some money after b2g1 at Target.
SSAO
Yo, what the hell does this mean for Dark Souls in the future when Namco finally implements Steamworks? Ugh.
I also liked it a lot in 60 FPS. It actually adjusts perfectly to the framerate. You're crazy! When playing in 30fps, the motion blur honestly looks awesome.
I'd actually group SSAO as a "lighting" option, just like shadow quality. All lighting in games is fake to some extent, in the end it's still trying to emulate light behavior. (This doesn't change the fact that there's no "vertical slice lighting" option, just wanted to point it out)SSAO isn't lighting though, it's basically emulated shadows.
Well, if they did implement full VAC it would be like any other online game -- no modding while online. That is actually a really good point of discussion.

Needs webm version.
The sheer ferocity of the Capra Demon is unmatched.
Only because of the tiny room tbh. Otherwise he's a pushover.
How's that guy not dead after that combo is beyond me.

Was just checking out the recommended specs on Steam, noticed this:
Seems a bit steep to need a 750 for just higher-res textures. Maybe the dynamic lighting is returning after all?

My buddy Fungo put up a vid on youtube discussing some of the happenings with this game so far. And shows some of the graphical differences from initial release to now.

Tomorrow at 9 on youtube?
It'll be on Giant Bomb too and they should have 60fps.
Set your calenders now, get the webm's ready.
The countdown has begun.
I'm really anxious for the footage now ;_;
EDIT: wait what's a QL?
