I hope Sonic Souls is available after. I had some trouble trying to get it off of Mega, since that site can be a pain in the butt for big files.

If you're a Firefox user, Chrome is much more compatible. For some reason, Mega downloads cut off in Firefox after the first... 100mb? 1gb? Something like that. I'm not sure why, but that doesn't happen if you use Chrome.

It's a Firefox thing, yes. You'd have to install the Mega plugin to get around it, whereas Chrome handles the site as intended without plugins.

I have tried Chrome, but it insists on downloading, then "decompressing" to my system SSD. Not enough room at the moment for that.

Read through the articles; great work man :D! Nice breakdown for each of the different games at the SAGE event.

Going to be writing my own article or two of some SAGE games later today :). You was able to play the 3D games; how did you do that? My laptop is not very good for 3D gaming, so some advice on running stuff like Sonic Souls would be great.

Yeah, hm, I dunno if I'm a big fan of that Knuckles sprite. The spikes on his fists are a bit big and his walk cycle is more of a shuffle. He's not swinging his arms (or the rest of his body) enough. It looks really "delicate" and Knuckles does not strike me as a delicate character.

He asked if that was Shadow
Knuckles the (red) echidna= Shadow
I dont think i can find a proper Rock image to convey how i feel about this

Do you guys think that there are Fan made Sonic games out right now that are probably better than Sonic Mania or is Mania the magnum opus of Fan made Sonic games?

I understand that it's a silly question considering that it hasn't released yet.

Mania isn't a fan game tho. Also unlike most fan games it will probably be finished.

And the pixel artistry on display is generally far above what you'd get out of the average fan game, too (since most fan games - not all, but most - are content to reuse stock assets from existing titles).

The more I learn about and getter with Sonic in Smash 4 the more fun it becomes. Feel really lucky my favorite character on the roster is also most fun for me.

Yeah Sonic is my secondary now behind Charizard. Chillager is retired for now until I can learn how to get past his awful matchups (Cloud, Mega Man, etc).

Out of all the demos from SAGE I played, I think I liked Emerald Ties the most. Fantastic level design and the presentation is top notch as well. Really impressive!

New Mania footage looks near-perfect... ya know, besides the people playing it who clearly don't know how to play a Sonic game...

Yeah, it's cool that Sonic was improved big time from Brawl. He sucked in Brawl but he's tons of fun to use in Smash 4!
