The outfit looks way color than the one she's wearing at the end/start of TFA/TLJ. However, I'm not sure I like the new hairstyle, the old one with the 3 lil' buns was the shit.

Yeah. As pointed out it's the same pose as that first marketing image we got from the packaging. I really like both looks.
I love the whole Prince of Darkness vibe Kylo has going on, at least in that image.
Honestly at this point I just want Kylo to kill Snoke and really step up and stop being such a vag to become this really twisted crazy ass villain.
Man now I really want a high-res version of these.
I really liked one of the rumors from the old days before we knew much of TFA's plot where Kylo (back then just "the bad guy") was a descendant of Dooku and a collector of Sith artifacts.

I remember that. Not the Dooku part but definitely the artifacts. He did end up with Vader's helmet somehow. I wonder who recovered it. I'm guessing Snoke.
I liked Dooku because of his "Count" status, real huge Dracula guy right here. When I heard there was a villain named Count Dooku and Christoper Lee was playing him I was convinced Attack of the Clones would be the greatest film ever made lol
So yeah, maybe with any luck Rian will deliberately infuse some Dracula-like inspiration into Kylo at some point.

I was going through all the spoilers in the run up to The Force Awakens a couple days ago. It was fun to see what rumors were going around. The "Luke goes to the dark side" one was heavy for a little while. Max Von Sydow was supposedly playing a cyborg drunkard named Montross. Latino Review was seemingly always wrong. The entire movie was essentially known before the end of February 2015.

Still holding out for a brief snippet where Kylo glances ghost Anakin, and realising the implications, just snaps.
Otherwise in terms of possible prequel stuff sneaking in for a cameo, you could probably little either the New Jedi Temple (prior to its destruction) or Luke's cave with some prequel era trinkets and artefacts, like say a holocron. Maybe a piece of armour from the clone wars. Perhaps the mask of a temple guard.

The first movie we ever watched together was Brick, actually.
And the first film I can remember us going out to see together was The Brothers Bloom when it opened (it's one of her favorites now)

My wife and I met in grad school. Before we actually started dating, we both went to a cinema night with a bunch of fellow grad students. Everyone wanted to see Casino Royale, but my wife had zero interest in Bond and wanted to go to Stranger than Fiction instead. I wanted to see Bond, but said that I'd go with her to the other film while the rest of our group saw Casino Royale. I didn't end up seeing Casino Royale until it was on video, but it worked out in the end. Stranger than Fiction also wasn't terrible. I ended up taking her to Skyfall years later. I don't think she particularly cared for it.
My wife has a weird taste in movies though. She likes special effects and hates anything with complexity that requires any level of attention. We therefore watch a lot of superhero films together.

Luke vs Snoke
Rey vs Luke
Rey & Luke vs Snoke & Ren
I'm thinking I'd like for Rey to repeat the same 'mistake' as Luke and rush off to face Snoke and Ren before she is really ready. Rey pleads with Luke to join her in facing Snoke but he refuses and she goes off alone.
Smoke easily defeats Rey only for Ren to betray him in an attempt to take Rey away from Luke and train/turn her himself. Film ends with Ren carrying off an injured Rey and sets up Luke as the last Jedi who has to track down Rey in IX before Ren turns her to the dark side.
What would everyone else like to see?

I am ashamed to admit that I did this to my wife when we first started dating.
In my defense, I was 17 at the time and still pretty immature.
Luckily she ended up really liking them, although she likes The Clone Wars and Rebels series better than any of the movies. It was fun watching them together on a weekly basis when they aired.

It's a fun little bit, but they also actually show another alien (from the Han Solo movie this time). It's so completely insane to me that it's all practical effects. So much detail and small movements, for a creature that might just have 3 seconds of screentime in the background for all we know.
People often like the ships and planets and all that stuff (and I do too), but the aliens (specifically the ones with actual costumes/animatronics) have always been my favorite part of these movies ever since I was a kid. If I had any technical skill at all I'd love to just be a monster builder for these kinds of movies.

I hope they do another first and show her obtaining the kyber crystal and building the saber. With so much attention on Jedi lore and the force, I'm thinking this is definitely going to happen.

Can't really tell if Kylo's is all that different besides him not having a cape and not a scarf/cape thing.
Isn't she still using Luke's old Lightsaber? Seems like it from the above screen. I can't imagine Luke takes it back from her, I mean, I'm sure he got one since Jedi.

Oh I know but since they're showing more sides of the Force and Jedi than ever before, it would be nice if she built a new one. I have a feeling Ben will get his hands on this one, I don't see him losing twice to her in two films but that's just my theory. Obtaining the crystal then building it would be so neat to see on screen.

Yeah, you can't really see much at all but I do think there are more changes than just the cape. I'm looking at his torso and the pattern doesn't seem to match up to either of the robe things he wore in TFA.

Going by TFA, having the saber is more than just having a sword, and potentially that was true for Vader's mask too. They're literally relics. Kylo getting Anakin's old saber would probably do something.
It seems strange to me they don't show Kylo Ren with his helmet.
