But they have all the dub episodes available before it and after it too! There's just a random chunk missing in the middle. Might be related to a promotional thingy but kinda weird if so. Drops out around 48 and picks up again at 99 or so.

Weeeeeeeeeeird. I'll see if I can ask a friend about it.

Might as well post my fall watchlist:

Galilei Donna
Kill la Kill
Kyoukai no Kanata
VVV S2

Pretty short, although knowing me there's a good chance it'll expand. And of course if there's some other show that turns out to be a sleeper hit with AnimeGAF I'll probably wait until late in the season and do a catch-up marathon before the last episode airs.

Looking at those screens makes me want to rewatch the movie. So beautiful.

I definitely feel nothing I watch today will match up to how amazing the movie looked.

Really like the cafeteria background in the kitchen scenes. It gave that area such appreciable depth when I initially assumed they were in some tiny room.

It's the nice little touches that makes me really appreciate this movie.

Oh, there's no indication of the exact number of voters since the details weren't made public, but ANN did post the results of that "which of BioWare's properties Funimation should adapt next" poll a couple weeks ago. (scroll to the bottom of the article)
Star Wars: The Old Republic 33.4%
Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood 17.6%
Baldur's Gate 13.7%
Jade Empire 12.8%
Neverwinter Nights 11.0%
Mass Effect: Paragon Lost sequel 6.2%
Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker sequel 5.3%

Apocalypse Zero 1-2

Meh, I guess I was expecting something more outrageous than this. It started off with great potential and some of the imagery is... interesting, to say the least, but I wasn't a fan of how stitched together and incomplete the ending felt. As it stands this one barely qualifies as list material. Either that or I've become more desensitized to this sort of stuff over time which is a bit more worrisome, admittedly.

Maybe I oughta just bite the bullet and tackle Eiken next.

Sailor Moon Lewd Stars 200 END of Sailor Moon

Lewd Stars really was the best choice to call this. More than 5 minutes of gratuitous nudity, the Lewd Star shined brightly in this episode.

It's rather amazing to see Usagi's ideals getting almost everyone killed the process, yet it's that same ideal that managed to save everyone, and regain everyone she holds dear to her (not Naru, loool)

With the events of Stars over, Usagi ends up friendzoning Saint Seiya forever without really understanding, and now she no longer suffers with Mamoru in tow. But the rest of the Inners did not get any cock.

Moonlight Densetsu comes back! Well... Stars really did not pull any punches whatsoever, and right now, I'm going to wait before I give my overall opinion for both Stars and the (anime) franchise.

I remember having this thought while reading some manga.

My second thought was that no one should ever know.

The aftermath of playing your first eroge.

Young Kirino was so adorable. Kyousuke was such a little shit back then,
ditching your sister and leaving her in the rain... you little fucker!

Also, Manami is downright terrifying.
Her telling Kirino that she wouldn't give Kyosuke back to her in that sing-song voice gave me the chills.

What a stupid ending. What a stupid plot. What a stupid MC.

I'm rating these OVAs 4/10. S2 destroyed the potential S1 had built up.

Just in time for One Piece: Episode of Going Merry on Saturday!

(I wonder if Episode of Alabasta is worth watching before that.)

Episode of alabasta is what happens you try to take a 63 chapter arc/34 episode and cram it into an hour and half movie, a lot the best moments in the arc ended cutting cut from the movie, it services as warning what happens when your try to take on too much by being foolish enough to try an adapt a grand shounen mega arc into a movie.

Fortunately arlong park arc didn't get water down any where near as much thanks to it being a lot shorter at 27 chapters/14 episode.

Outside a few most one piece arc aren't suited to be made into movies, most have far too much story and key plot & character scenes.

Watch episode of chopper it has a few minor changes but chopper story is intact

I have to admit that despite all the posts about them I haven't been moved to watch more magical girl shows. Partially because any show or franchise with hundreds of episodes immediately puts me off.

I'm with you there. I probably wouldn't be watching HxH had I not gotten on the bandwagon from the start. I don't think I'd ever actually recommend it to anyone not already into long-running shounen fightan series just because of its length (which is still extremely short compared to the Big 3).

I'm somehow okay with long manga, though.

Having failed the budget requirements for a CG ending, the girls try their hands at a try hard edgy OP with tons of fanservice instead!

It's all fun and games until you're slowly killed and mentally defiled by a sack of meat with eyes and teeth.

I wonder if the Tiger also came from the legendary A*azon warehouse located in the Amazon.

Why not just watch it subbed until 99?

I don't know if there's any other long show worth watching... except maybe the new HxH whenever I bother with it, but I guess that and Ojamajo Doremi can be the last for a while (maybe forever).

Gundam Seed HD Remaster Episode 45

Good Clotho time, though Ive noticed that in terms of who gets the redone scenes, all three of them barely have any. Why no enhanced launched sequence scenes like Kira, Athrun, and even Dearka get. Considering that they also seem to not get anything but yet scenes of just Natarle standing there talking to Flay gets enhanced, makes it even more baffling. Though 45 episodes in, the series has always had that issue of making scenes of characters faces and etc getting retouched or redone and Gundam and other mobile suit action scenes looking outdated and smeared. Regardless, Im just glad they did get more time. Mixed on the new plot element
nuclear weapons have been done so much in media that it just makes it hard to be impressed here...but then when GENESIS appeared and started that firing sequence...Great placed to end the episode. I wonder if its another situation like on Earth in Alaska was it where they microwaved the whole base.

Fervently hoping that Clotho, Athrun, Kira, Dearka make survive all the way through this anime.

I'd much rather watch 100 episodes of 10 good shows, though. Especially since shorter series have been the norm for quite a while now.

That's understandable, but I would hate to miss out on the delightful experiences offered by Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Gintama, or Jewelpet Kira Deco just because they're longer than 50, 100, or even 200 episodes. As long as a series can stay fairly consistently good (admittedly a difficult task), I'm happy to have more than 13 episodes of it to enjoy.

A real slice of heaven, this show is.

I wish they'd stop using those weird perspectives though, I have to keep turning my head!

I think there's a certain appeal to following a cast of characters for many episodes, provided their adventures stay consistent. Personally, I'd rather that than get attached to a bunch of characters whose stories end in only a dozen episodes or so.

It's one of the reasons I went through game withdrawal upon completing Persona 4.

I don't know that I can bring myself to watch any regular anime right now, because I know none of it will be as fucked up as what I watched last night. It's like when you hear about those people who can't get off to regular sex because of all the crazy porn they've seen.

I'll ease myself into it by hatewatching the most recent episode of Attack on Titan, I guess. Can't wait for 24 solid minutes of people doing nothing at all!

The bonding of a group of characters, both between themselves and between the viewer, is one of the most enjoyable aspects of narrative entertainment to me. And each time it ends, there's a little hole in my heart. Harry Potter, LOTR, a Final Fantasy game, the original Pokemon trio...

Nao's scared of ghosts too? Goddammit, I thought she was gonna be one of the cool ones at the beginning.

And Reika was in full Reikabot form in this episode.

Premise had potential, but this really wasn't a very good episode at all.

I'm still trying to get used to my new watching schedule. Used to watching stuff on my laptop at nights, now watching on my Desktop during the day. Hurray for dual-monitor multitasking!

Also, I'm going to be "silently" watching some shows now, like Revolutionary Girl Utena and C³-bu, so don't expect posts on those from me unless something big happens.
