Sega Mark III (Sega Master System) Version of Hokuto no Ken

When exploring the wasteland, you can excavate a ”Game Machine and Game Cabinet," relics of the civilization of the old world. By taking the excavated game back to Eden, you can play it. In Hokuto ga Gotoku, you can play the Sega Mark III version of the 1986-released side-scrolling action game Hokuto no Ken.

Yeah the keyboard is mint.

Rubber keys, so no it is not good to type on lol. Also there is basically (pun intended) no software for it.

But hey I'm a Sega tragic so I keep it.

Yeah, you need to keep that. If anything it'll look good on some photos! Such a strange arrow key layout btw, compared to most PC keyboards.

Very cool! Looking at the picture on the box, I see there's a printer made for this machine?!

This is a list of games I could get behind. Damn good choices.

I wish Sega would cancel their licence and do a quality one of these themselves. Fuck, ask Nintendo to do it for you, Sega.

Atgames has been making their garbage in the space for too long.

The problem with a quality mini MS or MD is that they've kind of ruined their reputation already with all the cheap knock-offs :/

Alex Kidd in Shinobi World
Shinobi

people sleep on Ninja Gaiden SMS but it's definitely one of the best games on the system. A late release in 1992, it looks amazing and plays well.

SMS was soooo underated.....Phantasy Star kills any RPG from NES....It was ahead of its time.

GAF's Resident Saturn Omnibus
I owned a Power Base Converter in 1989 and 1990 and had a lot of fun playing several Master System games. I especially loved Golvellius and it quickly became my favorite game for the system. I enjoyed it even more than the original Legend of Zelda, which never clicked with me until many years later. Its integration of overhead and side-scrolling elements, its impressive boss fights, its many varied environments, and its unforgettable music stayed with me for many years. The game ended with the hope for a sequel, which, sadly, never materialized.
