For fucks sake. Before anyone says this is good for PC gaming how is having 5 different stores and launchers make pc gaming more accessible for new comers? This is worst than the PC gaming space prior to Steam.

Competition is always good. Steam is coming worryingly close to being a monopoly.

I don't really care about Bethesda's games, so this does little to affect me.

Real competition would be nice though, so if they've truly something to offer it'd be nice to see. Outside of GOG, doesn't seem like the other storefronts are doing much of anything to make themselves attractive outside of their exclusives.

Not necessarily. A Bethesda client with none of the features Steam has doesn't give me any benefits as a consumer.

These launchers and publisher stores aren't competition. EA is not selling its games on Steam since it created Origin, how is that competition?

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they announce that there would be a Bethesda.net launcher at their Pre-E3 event last year?
