I wish it was on PSP or PS3 rather than PS2... it seems too niche a PS2 game at this point in time to see a localization. :/

I hope his Wii and other DS game are RPGs or action games.

I'm still rather hoping his Wii game is one of Monolith Soft's RPGs... but it'll probably end up being Mario Party 8. :/

Halo 2 had 10/9/9/9 37/40 if i remember correctly.

Halo had i think 33/40

Edit: Yep seems to be right going by googles links.

Halo 2 got a 34 from the main Famitsu, the 37 was the less credible Famitsu Xbox.

It's just hard not to expect some sort of letdown.

Like I said, my definite hope is that it'll be an RPG -- that's why I think one of Monolith's would be a good pick, since he's worked with them before.

Nothing new about the ideas. Sounds like Gun Parade March on PS1(which was very well regarded) and the Gun Orchestra trilogy on the PS2(which were considered mediocre).

Sounds much more like Sakura Taisen. The Gunparade series aren't even strategy games, they're pure sims which is what Alfa is known for.

Wow, it also appears that SCE registered the trademark for Armoed Trooper Armodyne (機甲装兵ＡＲＭＯＤＹＮ&#65317 way back on the 20th of Dec last year. I guess Omiya Soft has been working on this for awhile now.

The GPO are very much sim/strategy hybrids. Check out the official site for the Monster and Mecha designs. Unlike Fami, the lowly-hyped sim/love-sim/visual-novel stuff gets a lot of detailed coverage in Dengeki.

Man imagine staring at those creepy wooden doll faces while trying to play blackjack.

I mean yeah, make all the jokes about "poker faces" that you want but that would still be creepy as hell. I think Itagaki doesn't want you to stare at those character models up close and unmoving for too long.

It's nice to see Mitsuda back to making soundtracks for console games again and not just overlooked DS games. I guess he felt with Xenosaga finished, he may as well try making music for other mecha as well. Now if only Mitsuda could release the Chrono Cross Arranged Album this year because I'm tired of waiting.
