Tokyo Xanadu is set in Morimiya City, which is located on the outskirts of Tokyo. It revolves around the fates of two high schoolers, Kou and Asuka, as they traverse through Xanadu, an otherworldly labyrinth, in a grand scale story.
Glorious non-Kiseki Falcom must return.I'm so happy that Falcom is putting something out that isn't Kiseki or Ys. It's been a long time.
Yooooooooo. Now imagine that ,not in your typical sword/sorcery fantasy world, but in a modern day Tokyo that is apparently "invaded" by fantasy elements.
Fuck, my hype is through the roof.
Concept art looks really cool, but haven't played this series and the Xanadu Next gameplay footage isn't impressing me. Cautiously hyped at this point
I wouldn't be so sure. XSeed has a great track record with non-Kiseki Falcom titles.Look neat. Too bad it will never be localized.
I need this. I need this too much even.
I actually think it has a chance, I mean, it's still an Action-RPG, they bring Ys games, they could bring this too.Look neat. Too bad it will never be localized.
I know wydward is a big Xanadu Next fan. I figure he's already preparing a pitch.I've never played a Xanadu game, but XSEED's releases have made me a definite Falcom fan in the last few years, so this is relevant to my interests. I hope they bring it over here.
...well now.
i would be a little surprised if this was a mobile game. aren't they historically a pc developer who dabbled in consoles? i though the recent output from them was the part that was out of the norm - where they were supporting consoles and handhelds with new entries first.
falcom's a company i sort of want to like, but i just don't know where to start. i really liked ys: memories of celceta, and i totally dig them as the kind of company from a bygone era.
