Hopefully the director bought a tripod for this one.

Hehe, that doesn't really bother me but the quick cuts do. Not enough to stop me from watching it but it does get on my nerves.

that's the one thing the bourne movies have always missed. a hot girl. the dark haired girl in the first two was ok and julia stiles is not hot at all. ah well, the movie will probably be awesome like the other two :p

I got chills cause I know it will be awesome.

Me too.

And from what i saw, he fights a black dude. Finally.
Man i still think Jason bourne is the ultimate "spy", he would kick the shit out of james bond, he has them moves. Let's see some butt kicking!!!!!

And let's just hope the camera work is better.

i still like the bourne identity far more than supremacy, so hopefully this is more like that. bourne identity was a little cheesier and over the top at times, but it was really impressive the way bourne could do all these incredible things and matt damon would still really convey a sense that he had no idea how he could do them. supremacy really took a lot of that away, and replaced it with nausea inducing cameras, which i think makes identity much much better

Not to be argumentative, but isn't that bound to happen after he's pretty much found out who he is? I mean, you can only be flabbergasted like that for a while, particularly since he found out he was an agent of some kind.

good point, but that sense of shock that matt damon pulled off is still what made me like identity more...i guess this just means i'm bound to dislike the last part too now

I sort of hope Pamela Landy (Joan Allen) doesn't become kind of an enemy of Bourne after they sort of came to a mutual understanding by the end of the second movie - though it obviously wasn't a completely trustworthy relationship.

Can someone else please bitch about Greengrass' style? I dont think enough of you have in this thread. Its the way he likes to shoot his films, and it doesnt appear to be changing soon. Get over it. I think the style worked great for Supremacy, and United 93 wouldnt have been the same great film it was if the hectic, documentary style shooting wasnt present.

looks decent so far. i really hope that its better than Supremacy (wasn't too pleased with that one). and i really hope that Free Running crap isn't in this movie too. that was the worse part of Casino Royale and i hope it isn't in this movie.

p.s. yahoo player sucks

That jump through the window as if he is Spiderman is some crazy shit. I love the Bourne series so I cant wait for this one.

I don't understand the hate for the teaser. It shows the stuff he went through and that he wants to finally know who he is and how he came to be. I think it was a very effective teaser.

Good trailer, not great. But as many people here have already said, the movie will be awesome so who cares.

That music sucked tho

Isn't the book about an old Bourne? Guess the movie has a diferent plot then.

As I understand it, the previous 2 films are vaguely similar to the books at best (apparently there is a main villain throughout the books that the movies have never touched or something), so Im sure this will be no different.

No it really didn't. There are huge swaths of the movie in which I have no clue as to what is transpiring thanks entirely to the awful camera work. What works in documentary style flicks does not carry over to action movies. The whole point of the action movie is to take in the spectacle, to be wowed by what is going on, if you can't see it the move is a failure end of story.

Supremacy is about as far from a failure as a sequel gets, in any facet. You dont like Greengrass' style, I think it works just fine for this type of movie. Its called opinion, end of story.

Solo > the rest of you jokers. He gets it.

Anywho, that trailer is ok but the movie will be six different kinds of awesome. Possibly one of my favorite scenes of all time is in Supremacy, where he intentionally gets picked up and waits for the CIA to call the dumb guy that's holding him, then ****s their shit up in like 2 seconds. Awesome.

I really would have loved the first two movies if the camera didn't jerk around all over the ****ing place. The way it's filmed is trash.

Reading about your drinking habits no wonder you prefer the shakey cam style :p

There is a way to make the action seem fast an furious without making it seem TOTALLY RANDOM and INCOHERANT.

The opening of the first book and movie is the same, where a guy with no memories is pulled from the Mediterranean.

After that, the books and movies have nothing in common at all plot-wise. They do share a couple of names and characters, like Marie (who does not die) and Treadstone. But even the characters have all changed a lot. Bourne in the books is much older and his back story has him being based out of Asia, not Europe.

I love that part.

There are just too many awesome parts, in both movies. Like the part where he gets a shotgun and takes down a sniper:lol

Just to throw some fuel to the fire, I think Supremacy is, well, supreme. Both are fantastic though, and I have to thank them both for getting me Casino Royale.

I liked both previous movies. Identity is in my top 10 action movies ever :) Didn't like Supremacy as much, though, but it was still great.

I'm still trying to get the trailer player to work though dammit :(

EDIT: got it to work, the trailer was pretty cool.

the premise is the same but everything else is different. they mainly centre around him fighting Carlos the Jackal. I liked how they kept Bourne's real name the same in the movies (David Webb). The Bourne Supremacy is the best book (coincidentally the best movie) of the trilogy. Bourne has a slight bout of schizophrenia and goes Jack Bauer on a US embassy in Hong Kong with machine guns+C4.

Come on Yahoo, even myspace has a better video player than you.

And not only can you not use a scroll wheel on the video browser, you can't even drag the bar. You have to use the arrows like it's 1990 all the sudden.

i've never seen the first two except for the last 20 minutes of the 2nd Bourne movie. The ****ing spastic camera-quick shots of the car scene made me nauseous. It was like Chris Nolan fight scene times 1000.

Honestly, you owe it to yourself to see the first one, I think it's a better movie, and you will enjoy the 2nd much more after watching it.
