That is actually a nice improvement, the old Ubishop store didn't let you redownload after a few months (1? 3? I think it was 3 tops)If you buy through the uPlay client shop tab, it will keep the game in your library like steam/origin to download in the future.

The UPlay client always fucked up the sound in quite a few of the game I've played.
Haven't played an ubi game since they updated it, so hopefully it's been fixed

Also just bought HAWX 2 so props to Ubi for a good promo (Driver is next).
That said, the layout of the uPlay client is beyond horrible.
I'm from EU, too and had no problem buying through their on-line shop (DigitalRiver by the way).
Still 19.49 ($24) here (down from 29.99). Guess they are pricing their games regionally as well. Too bad, no sale.

Thanks, live for me now in NA. I'm assuming it went on Pacific time here instead of starting the same time it did for you guys unless Uplay just didn't update for me. I can finally get HAWX 2 now.
From Dust would be worth the price even if it was priced like a triple-A game. Ok, maybe not the PC port but the game under the clunky controls.
For me it's 12,00, but whatever; I bought it. Kinda feels like I'm betraying Steam though, but even the standard price is like 20 more than on uPlay, so price > platform in this case.
Really? Maybe they have different prizes according to the European country in which you are. I'm in Spain btw and it's 7.98 here.

Nope, even tried to put CD key that uPlay sent me just for shits n' giggles into Steam, it only activated a $20 wallet fund into my Steam account, wanted the game =/

This means all these games will show up at these prices at some point in Steam right, I can wait...
i don't know that anything besides indie games and valve games have been on sale for $1, let alone a relatively recent release like driver:sf. maybe in a year or two, but even then it'll more than likely go to $2.50 (see stuff like just cause 2 that's always going on sale).

you might see some of the games on steam drop to 4.99 or 2.50, but wont be any lower for years yet

Depends on where you live. In Europe it varies between the 7 and the 20 euros, in the U.S.A it seems to be 20 bucks.
Hmm ok, yeah I'm in Canada so US Prices, 20$ is still too much, I'll wait for the Holiday Sale. I'll still pick-up Hawks and Driver tho
I wonder how it works if you already have the standard edition of Driver in your uplay account. I imagine they are considered two separate games? OMG Double the u-play rewards! haha

21,98€ from 54,95€. Maybe because Germany is one of Annos main markets as it originated here and they don't have to make it THAT cheap to sell tons of copies.
