Ouch, that sucks.

What's sbmm?

Anything specifically went wrong with the MP? Or nd just drop it for no particular reason?

I played quite a bit of it when u4 came out.

Thinking about getting lost legacy to also enjoy the mp, but I guess there is no future for it.
There is no solo playlist, so whenever you play you're more than likely end up in very unbalanced matches. Always lopsided. And since skill based matchmaking is a thing, I pick up players that are my skill level/decent to go against, but everyone in my team are brainless people.

Then we have the massive rage quitting epidemic where everyone fucking quits and you can never end a single match with all 10 original players. For whatever reason ND never implemented a quit penalty in this game despite the fact that it's so rampant, so expect to have even more unbalanced matches. And since everyone quits, if you're solo you'll late join into these unbalanced matches where you don't stand a chance at winning for like 90% of the matches. Not to mention sometimes you're stuck in the late joining screen where you see everyone's characters, but never actually join the match so you're sitting there for 5+ minutes on a match you'll never join cuz it's finished...

I really do enjoy this MP a lot. Believe me, I love it. But these persistent issues are the reason most people don't stick with it. Cuz it's a shitty experience most of the time.

Map designer? You mean it takes a specific skill that no one at ND has to just remake old maps and toss in a few swing rope sections? I doubt that.
Well, yeah, there are discrete roles. Do you think a sound engineer or a PR strategist could design maps?

There's a reason this game hasn't had a lot of maps and most of them are regurgitated jungle-themed ones...

Designing a new map, you're right, obviously...But recreating an old one, re-skinning, remastering. These are highly skilled and professional developers, obviously someone from the HR department or accounting can't do it. But there are plenty who probably can.

lmfao, this is so fucking stupid. My daily challenge is win 3 TDM matches and I have only won 2 out of like the 10 matches I've played. No wonder people don't play this bullshit.

Me and a friend is consistentely teamed up with new players against parties or pros, it’s kinda hilarious how we’re forced to carry every single game lol
