I don’t think early access is why this was delayed to be on PlayStation. It seems like there are timed exclusivity clauses that Xbox has in their Game Pass deals that prevent these games from releasing on PlayStation. It only got added to Game Pass once it hit 1.0.

Hmm forgot it was on GP. Was it advertised as Xbox exclusive launch? Either way, relaxing their policy would get them more money in the long run.

Not played VS for a while, bought a couple of DLC's for its addictive af. Perfect for handhelds.

I recently 1000/1000 Brotato and while it is was a lot of fun, the sheer amount of upgrades and unlockables in VS gives it an edge.

A genre-defining game, but now I think games like Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor have perfected what Vampire Survivors started.

I played it for like one whole day on my tablet and felt I got more than my fill of it at that time.

It’s like a beginner’s first roguelite. But I do enjoy rogueltes so I mght get it on the cheap for a platinum.

Brotato, halls of torment, and death must die are the mount Rushmore of the bullet heaven genre IMO

Vampire survivors early game is very good, but the late game is super bad / completely brainless

deep rock galactic is super high quality but the game lacks serious player agency unfortunately. Extremely repetitive. Similar to halls of torment

Brotato's lack of enemy variety really hurts the enjoyment of runs even if it has a large cast of classes and itemization.

Never understood the appeal of this game. It's like a twinstick shooter, but with one stick. You just run around in circles and avoid getting hit. As much as we shit on games with bad graphics and bad gameplay I'm surprised this game is successful. Must be the casino like features in the game.
