Same with the whole AAA industry honestly, every mega publisher from Ubisoft to Microsoft are axing games and studios left and right and laser focusing on making their own Warzone or Fortnite, GAAS titles that generate a continuous flow of cash for minimal work over the years.

Look for indie games and AA studios for creativity.

They didn't want to invest in building studios during the 360/xb1 gen. They didn't think it was worth it unless it was Halo/Gears like success. Which they were somewhat right.
