Excluding last week's Thursday previews, it's a 44% drop - fantastic hold. Clearing $500m is locked at this point.

Knew it was one of the best second weekends ever. Was meaning the % drop from opening weekend and how it stacked against other monster openings.
Looking at the list, 2nd or 3rd best weekend drop for an opener over $150m. And in March, which is even more impressive.

I don't see what they could have done really to cut the budget anymore while still being a wide targeted movie and Power Rangers.
I guess cutting Zords and Goldar maybe but then fans would be down on it.

$200-250 million is more reasonable. $300 million is possible, but very unlikely.

I think it's fucked because Power Rangers has much of the same audience and that's doing better than expected. ScarJo has pull but I just don't see that overcoming the other movies chipping at its opening weekend.
