The perspective ones are pretty easy to figure out once the camera shifts or they break the illusion, it's just the eyes inability to perceive depth through an image on a 2 dimensional screen messing with you.

This is the best thing to come from this thread.
Most of those in the OP can be defeated by having two eyes and a working stereoscopic vision.

I know they painted the cylinder's shadow on the checkboard to make the illusion work, but it still baffles me.
This is so old that I still have a pdf to print the "mastiff" version of this, and honestly it works better in videos.

He's fucking with you. Nothing in his post is an optical illusion. They're all just things that are similar to actual optical illusions.

Give a guy a break. I spent like 3 minutes looking at that trying to figure out what is wrong with it and why it can't exist. Thought screw it, and move on. Had to laugh at myself afterwards.
