Figma Snake arrived, and boy is he fantastic! I know there's a lot of complaints about QC (loose, YMMV paint, ugly faces), but mine turned out alright. A little loose and has an abysmal angry face I'll never use again, but he's the perfect Snake for my Smash collection!
That Raiden is amazing. Sadly a little out of my price range right now, though.
Figma Snake is also looking pretty good. Better than some of the early pics I'd seen.
I still need a good Snake figure. It kinda sucks that there really aren't that many options as far as decent sized figures. Fuckin' kills me that I missed out on the Play Arts Kai MGS 1 Snake.

New Iron Man "Tank" 2015 exclusive and two mini Iron Man figs to go with it lol. They are just repaints while Tank is a repaint of Heartbreaker. We need Shotgun and Hammerhead!!

My biggest issue is the loose torso. Posing mine is pointless because of it.
Ugh man horrible. I'm thinking I'll sell mine and buy a Cyborg Ninja & Venom Snake Mini the more I look at it the less I'm liking it.

That really sucks. There is a video review for it and it totally killed any hype I had for it. I'd rather spend the extra and get PAK venom snake. Hope fully most of you get god quality ones.

Yep, I am very happy with mine too, I got for 6k yen too so no regrets, highly possable, now I need Figma to stop the moe kick they have been lately and return to the manime figures, a Gurlukovich soldier has been in the wroks since forever and it'll be the perfect companion for this snake, also GSC/Figma should freaking release Berserk's God Hand too.

He looks amazing. It's probably the definitive Goku statue. Only downside is that the aura at the feet are unremovable.
Yeah it's sort of okay in person. But I guess they don't want to release just straight up boring repaints.
Rumors that Drax will be a toy fairs exclusive at the end of the month.
They're releasing the Veronica attachment, not sure if itscomes with Hulkbuster or sold separately.

Doubt it. Betting he's in the trash bin right now. There's zero reason that Hot Toys will make such a sought after figure a limited exclusive. If they end up releasing him he'll be a regular release. Toy Fair Exclusives are usually low production figures that they don't put much effort in.
They excluded him at the 200% convention this week and I'm betting he won't be there at SDCC too.

I was dusting a couple of figures on my computer desk and I thought I'd share one of my favorite pieces in my collection with you guys. Hope you guys don't mind statues and bad cameras!
This is the DC Direct Classic Confrontations Batman vs Killer Croc statue. It's a polystone statue, I picked it up in 2010 I think. My photo doesn't do it justice, the amount of sculpted details and the paint work is phenomenal. The bandages on Croc's arms feel like real gauze. And this thing is a nightmare to dust. This is the 1st edition of this statue, a 2nd edition was released a few years ago (with a horribly inferior paintjob lacking any shading). Check out this review if you wanna see some decent photos of this masterpiece.

So I picked up Legends Wasp and I think this figure is the one that will finally break me and force me to buy some flight stands- I just can't bring myself to keep her grounded with these majestic ass wings. (well, that and she can barely stand on her own).
Does anyone have any recommendations for flight stands for 6" figures? Looking at Bandai Tamashii Stage Act 4's on Amazon, and thinking I'll go with those, or are Act 5's better? A different brand altogether?

I'm watching figures on eBay and notice people bidding on them days before the bid is over. I can't imaging why people do this instead of snipping in the last minute. Do they just want to pay more? It just seems like bidding by attrition.
I have a bunch of Bandai Tamashii Stage Act.5 stands and love them. Just ordered a bunch more and wasp was the reason. I've seen some amazingly priced knock offs but not sure if I trust them. Might be too brittle.

Now that you mention it, Hobgoblin would really benefit from a stand; I think I'm going to order a few off of Amazon. Thanks for the recommendation!
My first guess would be the recent Sentinel figures. I can't personally vouch for them because I'm a cheap ass who doesn't buy specialty or import figures, but they look pretty damn good in pictures. The Bleeding Edge figure is probably my favorite looking of the bunch; so good.
