Dragon Quest Heroes (PS4)- Loved the theme and all the DQ nostalgia packed in, but the "protect this thing" missions got so old by the end. Story got really cheeseball too, but I forgive everything because Yangus.

Welcome.

Just one thing: you have your scoring backwards (though it doesn't affect your total in this case). Acquired games are negative, beaten games are positive. It might seem backwards if you think of it as adding or subtracting games from your backlog, but I guess you can see it as gaining points for beating games, and you need to get the highest score possible.

Yo-Kai Watch (3DS) - Starting to think that I should just make a separate Backloggery account for my kids. But I do like seeing every title in one place. Anyway, this game looks interesting but I doubt I'll spend time with it. Bought my son the guide with this and he finished it in a couple of weeks. Between this and the TV show he's pretty into this property.

Just Cause 3 (PS4) - I really hope they continue to work on performance. I would take a downgrade in graphics if it ran smoother. Still though the game doesn't live up to JC 2 exactly, though messing around with the wingsuit is pretty great.

Currently Playing:

The Witness (PS4) - Currently around 230 puzzles finished. Not playing anything else until I'm satisfied with my completion level in this. I'm really happy this game is as enthralling as I'd hoped it would be.
Dark Cloud 2 (PS4) - Never finished this on PS2. Not sure if I care whether I finish it now either. I just like messing around and making gradual progression in the wide array of systems this game has.
Rebel Galaxy (PS4) - I really like this game's style so far but I'm hoping things change a bit once I'm out of the initial Hermes system.
The Witcher III: Wild Hunt (PS4) - Got back into this recently and actually finished the Dandelion thread and made my way into Skellige. Things are just getting better and better at this point. Can't wait to finish this so I can try out the DLC which is supposed to be incredible.
Assassin's Creed: Syndicate (PS4) - Beat this last night so I'll mention it next month.

Right. Gonna jump in here as I've been wanting to do this for a while, but there didn't seem to be much point as I bought games left right and centre. This year, I'm attempting to learn some self-control and restrict myself to ten games (that number may increase after E3, but no more than fifteen) spaced out through the year. Finally getting started for 2016 - It's been a slow burn this year. I've played a bunch of games, but had yet to finish any.

Finished Knights of Pen and Paper 2. I'm going to skip the long-form review on this one, because basically everything I said about the first game is still true. You can see that review here:

The only real differences with this one are:

1) It's much shorter. I finished this game in 7 hours according to Steam's counter compared to 14 for the first game.
2) It's much easier. The first game had some issues with severe difficulty spikes. This one doesn't have that problem, but it solves it by getting rid of all the difficulty altogether. There were a couple encounters in the entire game that I had to actually think about my resources, but none that seriously tested my party.

It's still fun and is fairly charming, and I enjoyed playing it, but it was more a content tour than a game that requires anything of the player.

I ended up spending half the month playing Trails in the Sky FC but my progress has been fairly slow because the pace of the story itself has been fairly slow. There's not much coming out I'm interested in during March or early April though, so I'm in no rush.
