Seems my talk earlier this morning of not finishing another game this month was premature!

Went back to Dishonored: Defintive Edition, not realising how much I had left to play the main game, and just finished it! Not touching the DLC for now, that'll be for another day. But as it's the main game done, I'll count it.

I thought I was pretty on point this month; this must be what it's like when you don't bog yourself down with nothing but 40+ hour RPGs. But looking at some of your posts, man, you guys are ON FIRE. Anyway, here's February, considering I won't be beating any games tonight.

Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest -- I wish I'd bought Birthright. That it's taken Corrin like 15 chapters

Rocket League -- Not technically something you beat, but I got the platinum, and looking at the general rules, it sounds like this would count. Play it nearly every day, and I still suck at it.
Undertale -- Just the neutral ending, because I don't think I have the determination to go through it all again for the true ending. I'm sorry, Sans.
Shovel Knight -- What an amazing game. This was the Mega Man/Duck Tales/Castlevania love child I didn't know I needed in my life. If you like retro games, this is one of the best love letters you could play.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate -- I feel like this was one of the best AC games in a while -- tasted great with a lot less filler. Everything felt like it had real purpose, and although it got repetetive toward the end, it didn't feel like the typical AC loop. Character wise, I really liked Evie, and tried to use her more, because Jacob felt like Ezio Attempt 3.0. But that ending... WHY.
Fables: The Wolf Among Us-- All five chapters done. Got it because I'm a huge fan of the comics, and I really loved how true they stayed to the source, even if the characters were a little more one-dimensional than they are on the page. Loved the weight of every choice, loved the tone, loved the art direction... Which is funny, because I just finished watching Jessica Jones, and they were oddly similar. Lots of New York, people hiding their powers, and pink.

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate (PS4) - I was going to skip this entirely after the bad impression Unity's first few hours left on me, but I'm glad the positive reviews pushed me to give it a rental. It's gorgeous and, while still not my favorite AC, has to be the best playing one.

The Witness (PS4) - I need to update my backloggery note, but I think I'm still under 450 puzzles. Need to give the challenge a second try as that's the last trophy I need. Also, still haven't completely finished a single monolith. Man I love this game.

Dark Cloud 2 (PS4) - Working through Sindain Forest.
Rebel Galaxy (PS4) - Still don't feel like I'm very far into the game yet, but still like it a lot. Finally died for the first time in a mission and put it down for a bit. Guess I need to do some work to upgrade my new ship a bit more then give it another try.
The Witcher III: Wild Hunt (PS4) - Slowly working my way through Skellige quests.
Street Fighter V (PS4) - Just renting this for now. I don't have a lot of interest in it until they add Challenge Mode (this is literally where I spend most of my time with fighting games) so all I'm doing is training with a character for a bit and then doing their Character Story. Got four left. Also tried Survival on Normal with Ryu and got pissed that they ramped up the difficulty suddenly on the last 3 fights, and ultimately I lost at the very end. I'll give it another shot once I'm done with stories and decide whether I want to stick with Ryu or move on to another. There are a few I like and a few I definitely don't.
Final Fantasy IX (PS Vita) - Lately been playing this whenever I decide to pick up the Vita for a while. Love the game but remember not liking the final boss and want to see that again. Up to Fossil Roo at this point.

My "long game" completion campaign is proceeding nicely with the addition of Risen 3 to the tally. I'm pretty much just staring at Dragon Age: Origins on the list now. Off to a bad start in March. Just added Watch Dogs and Assault Android Cactus (PS4) to the backlog. Discounts on both were hard to pass up. I think I can escape the rest of March without adding new titles.
Also, a question for Witcher 3 fans. Do y'all count the expansion as 0, 1, or 2? Hearts of Stone is as long as some AAA games and Blood & Wine is said to be even longer. But I've seen others disclaim season passes for the purposes of counting.

I don't count expansions, personally, but I think it could come down to personal scale and preference. For my own measure, I'll note when I've finished a DLC/expansion, but only count the number either way if it's a unique entry on my Steam/GOG library (for instance), i.e. Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is a +/- 1, but Hearts of Stone is not.

Mid-month update (and February)! Things are already looking grim for keeping ahead of my new purchases, as I picked up quite a few games over the last month and a half, and barely beat anything from mid-February forward. I just started a new job and had to move, so most of my time has been taken up by that, and for the last couple of weeks, I've just been building furniture/breaking down boxes. Was kind of nice to take a break from games though.
Getting the Collector's Edition of Fire Emblem also hurt, since that was 3 games at once.

March 2016 Update (03/30/16): I figured a whimsical purchase would eventually negate my progress thus far into the year, but I never anticipated it would be the result of acquiring a new handheld device. A few deals managed to align for a viable Vita adoption which came packed with a slew of titles that have pinged my interest for quite sometime. It'll be difficult making headway with the amount of role-playing adventures creeping into my collection yet I believe perseverance will come through in the grand scheme. On the chance Dark Souls will allow it, I'd like to have some summarized thoughts from my latest experiences in the coming month before the avalanche of upcoming games demolishes my efforts even further.
