As usual, reporting April results a little late. Looks like some folks are dropping off from reporting at all, but I guess that's how these things go.

NOTHING! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! This is a new high/low. I'm amazed. I don't even know how I did it. Wait, yes I do, I worked a lot, and I played nothing but Rocket League.

April Beaten: +2
Broken Age (PS4): Finally got around to this. It was a cute little adventure game, even if some of the plot was predictable. Dialog was genuinely funny, acting was great, and really, if you got this on PS+, it was a fantastic deal. Backer credits ran for like 20 minutes though. Put even an AC game to shame.
Batman: Arkham City (WiiU): I got this a wayyyys back and finally get to say I did it. I actually kinda didn't like it. I felt like it got really repetitious, anything that involved tracking someone or something was a joke, and the plot meandered. Is it weird that I'm playing Arkham Batmobile now and I'm enjoying it a lot more? I expect to add that one to May.

Just got some more gaming time the other day and beat Blops 3 (to hell with your frozen forest!), worst game I've played all year. May 2016 Update (05/28/16): I finally managed to defeat Dark Souls III at the cost of burning through almost the entire month in the process. I was looking to place Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty and 999 in the defeated column prior to this weekend, but I'll probably have to settle with having the former title done by this afternoon. Next month serves as a window of opportunity with the delay of No Man's Sky so I could move forward with my original plans while the remainder of the year looks stacked with RPGs and other lengthy bouts.

Welp. May was bad.

Main OP

Made a serious dent in the bought section. Barely a scratch on the completed section. Three games bought in May. Only one finished. *sigh*

And it's only going to get worse for June: Tokyo Mirage Sessions at the end of June and Mirror's Edge: Catalyst next week. Though No Man's Sky's delay into August is certainly a blessing in disguise, as far as I'm concerned (esp when the PS4 collector's edition is what I pre-ordered).

Assuming nothing looms over the horizon from E3, I should effectively have a clear path through to August and No Man's Sky to clear out a shitton of games before moving back into some decent figures.

The Banner Saga (PS4): TECHNICALLY I already owned it on Steam, but I forgot, so it counted against me on my backlog. I stealth deleted the Steam version, since I'll be playing the PS4 one anyway.

Uncharted 4 (PS4): Blew through it the first weekend I had it. I'm sure there's about a thousand impressions already, so count me among the folks who totally loved it.
Fantasy Life (3DS): It felt like I put A LOT more than 23 hours into this thing, which is both good and bad? For being on 3DS though, it was pretty amazing how well it mimicked a full-fledged MMO.
Batman: Arkham Knight (PS4): I still can't believe they gated the true ending behind the riddler trophies. Soured the whole thing for me. I was also pretty amazed it went as long as it did, because man, I coulda done without like 10 hours of running around blowing up bombs and tanks in the car. But oh well. Thank goodness for high ($$$) production values am I right

Mid-June Update:

Haven't had an update in a month as I have been playing games that don't count towards the scoring of the blitz.

I did however sell one game (NBA 2K16) and canceled a couple of pre-orders as now I'm going to play a wait-and-see on these games (No Man's Sky and Gears of Wars 4) as I'm starting to have 2nd thoughts about them.
