Btw, according to Wikipedia (trust me I don't have this knowledge off hand) See You Again's on both albums mentioned in the MTV article (one's a "rock mafia remix") so we could quite conceivably have two versions of the same shitty song in RB. Thanks for the E3 DLC Harmonix!

I wonder if there is something fucked up with the license for Party in the USA. I think the single was itunes exclusive and I don't know, but I live under the assumption it never was on an album. Unless it shows up on the new one...

Wow, HMX has done a good job of disappointing ever since the initial RB3 reveal. Bad E3 DLC and no real new info or songs announced since E3 began.

No, a few weeks ago someone at Harmonix said he was really excited about the DLC about to be announced, then corrected himself saying it was to be announced in two weeks or something.

It's possible that because the real guitar has more delay than the normal guitar, and that both the real guitar and the game are in development, that the game doesn't know what the internal lag of the real guitar is yet.

In other words, total lag = controller lag + A/V lag. Calibration only handles A/V lag and the game has hardcoded numbers for controller lag because every controller has the same lag. They may not have fixed the numbers for the controller lag on the real guitar...even if it is greater than the regular guitar it should still be able to compensate for it (but it will be lagged if you tried to mix the real sound coming off the pickups with the Rock Band audio).

Well, that song (and anything more from the group, going by the blurb) is instrumental. So that point is kinda beat.

thanks a lot Cahill, some weeks I was very close to feeling bad again about all of this...but somehow I managed to get a little stronger and Im handling this situation a little better now.

On Sunday we went together to the Lacuna Coil concert (here favorite band since she was a teen) and we had a fantastic night, she cried almost all the concert...at the end I catched an autographed drum pad and gifted it to her...she screamed and hugged me like never before....yeah...I know....this means nothing.

But, well, she appreciates me a lot again...I think a little more than before. It also means nothing =/

Please somebody kill me.

Dave seems to really like the toy aspect of these games much more so than the real side of them. Before you get all butt hurt Dave I'm not saying that's a problem I'm just saying I understand why you'd prefer the halftar.

Actually, that brings up a good point as well. What happens if those metal leads break. Half-tar looks shitty. Maybe the price point would keep people away, but if it's a $50 dollar difference, why would anyone buy the half-tar?

I have a real guitar right next to me. I struggle with it. If I'm using this as a learning tool, it makes more sense to use the easier interface, and then maybe move on from there. If I end up being a Halftar expert I'd probably get the Realtar, but fuck spending £250 upfront or whatever it costs.
