Will this version have online?

BB has some of the best netcode on consoles, but none of the handheld games go online
The PSP ones don't have any online?

Or the 3DS one?

Wow.

Well the PSP's network functionalities suck balls (so it's understandable) and the 3DS version is just a quick port of the PSP version, so yeah.

Given that this version hasn't released day and date with the PSP version, I dam well hope there's online.

I guess that other thread was a bit premature. LoL
A bunch of babies whining before they leave the hospital if you ask me.

Anyway, this might be a launch title?? I hope so! :D

This game will be glorious on the Vita screen.
Vita is 960x544 and BBCSII (arcade) has a native res of 1366x768
If this game downscales the same way Guilty Gear XX#R, GGXXSlash, GGXXAC, BBCT, and BBCSII did on PSP, it might not look that good.

PSP screen != PSP2 screen :D

It's Guilty Gear.

the extra "X" is for the one new move they add to each character.

i don't understand how Arc System Works' business model is successful. They make a niche fighter, then continually release new versions that make it even more niche and probably lose fans of the game with each iteration. I mean, how many people gave a shit about GGX2 Accent Core Plus Dash or whatever the hell the last game was? Maybe these games make their dough in Japanese arcades?

I guess it works out for them though.

and I'll probably buy this, especially if it's a launch title :)

can someone interpret the page? maybe we will get more info lol

There's not much to say.

New "stylish type" input method for beginners.
Full network battle (online) support.
Utilizes both of the touchscreens somehow.

It seems to me that there is some sort of weird scaling and the pixels are weirdly proportioned on the sprites, but i may be wrong.

Ask me about the GAF Notebook
Day 1 if it has online play!

Graphically looking at the link posted of the new high res screens it looks pretty picture perfect to me personally anyways.

Not really, this is NeoGAF, and when people aren't worrying (or faux-worrying) about one thing (price), they're worrying about another (third-party support). And when both of those are proven to be handled, it will be something else, and something else.

Anyways, this game looks fine, and it'll be great to see on the OLED.
