I had problems with my sizing as well when printed at home.
After some back and forth with others here, my solution became:

1) Open the cover in Photoshop
2) Save as Photoshop PDF
3) Open PDF file
4) Leave "auto-rotate and center" checked
5) Properties -> Print quality to BEST -> click 'show preview before printing' (just to verify it actually looks right)

With that, it finally printed out with entire image on the paper and at the right size for the cover sleeve.

I wish we had an "official" PS3 format.
Some of the covers have the spine PS3 text in black, others in white. I'd personally prefer having the black bar with white PS3 inside of it so that it would match up with covers you don't replace with customs.
I'd also prefer to have "playstation network" logos off the art, but it's hard to complain to someone when they're spending their own time making quality covers. Just a personal preference.

I just wish GAF could set up our own little set of standards as a base cover, and then anything else could be listed as alternate covers. I'm OCD about uniformity.

The differing colors is just to make the PS3 logo stand out from the background. Doesn't make much sense to keep the lettering white if the background is also white. This is just for the minimal format of course. I just wish we had an "official" minimal PS2 format.

Can I request one for Red Alert 3? If a person feels up to it, it would be great if there were three versions of it: Soviet, Allies and Land of the Rising Sun, with Natasha, Tanya and Yuriko, respectively gracing the covers. Also, maybe one with all three gals on the cover? Go Gaf Go!

NOTE: I cannot stres it enough: everyone should use the Search by Image Chrome plugin by Google. It helps A LOT to find not only similar images, but the same image in higher resolutions. It was of great help to me.

I made this for myself and I thought I'd share. I hope you guys like it. I also want to apologize because there is no currently no 360 version. Once I decided to share I really wanted to make everything look all right and that meant a lot of little nitpicks of all of those logos on the back and I'm not looking forward to doing the same thing for the 360 version right now. The front "T-M" ESRB logo was a real pain because the original is so big and ugly. I wanted to make it smaller but didn't want it to be so small that you can't even read "Teen to Mature". With all of that said though, I wouldn't mind uploading the PSD somewhere for someone to make a 360 version if it's wanted!

I also haven't printed it myself yet so if anyone does, please post feedback about the results.

Oh yeah, I made the dimensions exactly the same as a scanned version of the official MGS:HD game cover so it should be as simple as print and use!

Finally thanks to Rengoku for his awesome 3D box template again.

For the "informative" logos like number of players, dualshock, etc, I found a high quality/resolution custom cover with the same background colour and used those logos as a starting point. For me it was Crysis 2. After that I had to edit each logo to make sure the information was correct for MGS. For the company logos google image search often returns high quality results. Hope that helps!

I have a question/issue and I thought here would be mostly appropriate.

I bought some ps2 games used with a b2g2 deal. However, 3 of them need covers. I am not too picky and would happily just print them on regular paper.

Is 3240 x 2175 the right size? Is it possible to print this on a normal 8.5 x 11 sheet or is that not big enough?

The covers I need are Shadow Hearts, Covenant, Radiata Stories, and Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance.

Did I ever post Dark Souls and Need For Speed Hot Pursuit? I think no one told me yet whether or not they want the PSN and XBL logos on there.

I just wanted to stop in to say thanks again for putting these together. While I haven't printed any of them out, seeing your guys' work is really something else. Lots of talent here, so thanks for sharing it with us!

I'm not dead and I haven't forgotten about this thread -- my creativity has been on vacation though and I've been playing a lot of my games instead of designing new covers for them. :p

On my list, should I ever find that creative spark (currently, of course; my list tends to change when I decide to sell games when completed):

New games I've gotten that may get covers:
Rayman Origins
Tomb Raider Anthology
Sengoku Basara
Eternal Sonata

Games in my collection I still need to print/make covers for:
Batman: Arkham City
Batman: Arkham Asylum
SSF4
MGS HD Collection
UMvC3
God of War: Origins
Resident Evil 5

I know some of these already have covers (my initial attempts at a SSF4 cover were linked in the index even), but I haven't printed any out yet, so I'm not sure I'm finished with considering anything for those games.
