Yeah, he got 30 days back in 2006. He was off tv with a supposed "broken ankle" from Kurt Angle. In reality, he was serving the suspension and attending anger management classes during that time.
He was also on the famous list that came out in 2007 (right around then) that included Kennedy, Edge, Rey, Morrison, etc as guys that ordered steroids but he was never punished for that one.
Here's the reason WWE gave at the time:

I'm trying to remember if there was one occasion a few years back when Orton extended his injury vacation further over the summer by saying that he re-injured himself in a motorcycle accident that didn't actually happen, have I gone mad? those crazy dirt sheets man, I don't know what to believe anymore.
Probably. Could use the time off to spend with his kid. He's had a lot of concussions as of late so this will at least give him two months where he's not taking any shots to the head.
He misses the 1000th episode of Raw in St. Louis though by one week. Should be back in time for Smackdown in Indianapolis on July 31st though (I'll be at both shows).

I know Cena is a workhorse but I'd have trouble believing unless he's taking that TRT.
I thought the online roid thing would have been his 3rd strike and that's why they made up the BS excuse not to punish him.
It doesn't make sense for them to make up an excuse for a second violation.
Anyway. Orton must be addicted to pain pills badly. No way they suspend someone at the top of the card for anything else.
