ANother Halo 3 internal beta leak?

... This pistol was 3 headshot... we were talking about a four shot, what mean equal to the BR.
Four shot would be perfect, but not with a faster rate of fire, I think.

The life is always about perfection...
You'll find a lot of gamers playing just to pass the time...
You'll find gamers playing just because they enjoy a lot the game...
You'll also find a lot of gamers playing shooter games to improve their personal performance, trust me... a lot of 360 players are a Hardcore public. We already talk about it here.
The exact same goal when you are praticing anything that is more than a hobby and there's nothing wrong with that.
This is also the reason why so many people are playing BR games in Halo 2. Too many reasons exist about "why people are playing games" today.
Soon [but not tomorrow], you will probably see a new definition of what gaming is. This stage already started a few years ago... A lot more is to come I think.
The video game industry is actually young, but evolving a lot faster than many other industries.
So, a lot of reasons make me think that having a 4 headshots pistol equal to the actual Halo 3 BR, but with his own advantage at close combat and disadvantage at long range combat [no scope and no burst]... would be a nice thing.
The Assault Rifle is not making any headshot, right? So here is the close-combat balance Halo 3 could need. The Dual Pistols would be more effective than this Power pistol, so you wouldn't forget these Dual Pistols
. So this new Power Pistol would not Break the actual balance in the game.
I do not worry about what Bungie is doing for Halo 3, this game is already the most promising Multiplayer game of the Year for many reasons. I simply think the game could need more "skill required" element to make the MLG guys happy, without breaking the balance between them and the occasional gamers.

I know this is crazy and and I'll likely be banned for suggesting something so radical, but I think taking a ban is worth the chance to say this:
How about, just this time, you play the game and use the actual weapons before making statements about the balance and gameplay. It's a little nuts, but it just might illuminate the subject.
Not sure if anyone has ever brought this up anywhere on the net, but I really wish they would fix the snipers shooting through objects. Like people taking cover behind the portable shield walls on Turf, you can't see anything but the tip of their head, yet they can snipe you? GTFO, it's really bad on Ascension too.

Come on RELLY at least 5 if not more its a frikin pistol. i play alot of halo 2 still to date as many people on this fourm, and i think if i could get killed faster or at the same pace as a BR by a pistol i would not play that un balanced pice of S**T. Bungie will not make the pistol that powerful. BUngie is rethinking the balancing in Halo3 because its not balanced in Halo 2 . so please get those dumb ideas out of your head.

ahhh I see. I haven't played Halo 2 Matchmaking since 05' and I was very very dissapointed to see that they took out "One on One"s!!! As much as I liked double team and team slayer with my friends, it was awesome to be pitted against just one person. Just that person and you alone in a map. Great fun! Once someone got the sword, the other person in the game had no chance of catching up - especially cause the sword guy would get the lead and then hide somewhere, and as soon as you entered his little hiding spot he'd slice you.
And in maps like Ascension the other player could get the sniper rifle and camp in the tower and keep spawn killing you. Or take the banshee and get to the very top where you can't shoot him, etc. There was also a lot of standbyers in that mode.
