So if they are charging for alt outfits...even if they're just a dollar that's 25 bucks for all of them. 2 bucks, that's 50...almost the price of the full game! With the CE code I'm going to get outfits for Blanka, Zangeif, ChunLi, Fei Long and Gen.

out of the 25 characters only 5-8 of the alts look decent. It's not big deal, just pick the 5 best ALTs in your opinion and that will be the end of it

I think a skin with just a bunch of ink splatters would be pretty sweet.
I picked these up this weekend. One thanks to name generated and one thanks to a local game store. I am on a street fighter binge until the 17th. Also, got a great deal on the strategy guide and it still has the music CD(10 dollars).
Also, i went into toysrus today. they has soooooo many anniversary editions, art of fighting compilations, neo geo battle coliseums, alpha anthologies ,orochi sagas and Kof XIs. If you are looking for some fighting games head over to TRU.

While I was in Phoenix, I went looking for it in Gamespot, Walden and Barnes and Noble.
Do you know by chance of anywhere to get the Arcadia Mook? Besides your JPN connection.

I dunno. I'm alright with paid alternates, I accept the argument that you had to pay to play in the arcades to get them. I just hope Capcom is smart enough to realize that when you factor out the value of actually getting to play the game from the money spent, the value of the costumes is very, very low.
Interesting, also, to see so many people cheer on a la carte costume selections. I'd rather see something like $8-10 for a big pack of all the arcade alternates, personally. You have to consider that it's probably in publisher's best interests cost-wise to keep the number of transactions low, so I'd expect the price of individual costumes to be quite high compared to what bundle packs would be priced like. As many have already said, while a dollar for a costume sounds reasonable at first, multiply that by 25 and things get ugly.
