PS3 owners have shit taste, what else is new?

:lol

It's a shame in that Infamous is just so much more polished. To call it better would be subjective.

Personally I think it is far superior, but to be fair to Protoype I find myself enjoying it as well...although you have be be souless as you will be massacre hordes of innocent people throughout the game.

Overlord isn't doing as well as I hoped it would. Decent for 360 I guess (but not well considering the consensus on the first game was that it was good if not great and refreshing).
Also it shows that many people still seem to associate this game with 360, and why shouldn't they? I guess we might see the same large gap for the Dead Rising and Bioshock sequels and a few other games.

There is a typo and it should read "Infamous" in 19th place instead of Assassin's Creed, right?

.............right?

Wasn't inFamous released a while ago, though?

inFamous was released 2 weeks before Prototype. Prototype did enter at a higher rank and is holding stronger than inFamous.

Vesperia :(

Well it was expected because it didn't do well in NA either.
Hopefully it does much better on PS3.
How much better did Eternal Sonata sell on PS3 when it hit that platform after an extended delay? (In other words, don't bet on it.)

PS3 Prototype will easily outsell inFAMOUS in the short term.
Long term may tell another story... I expect inFAMOUS will have stronger legs after 3 months.

The distribution of Tales of Vesperia in Europe has been shameful. Very few shops actually have the game available...

UK charts:

http://www.chart-track.co.uk/index.jsp?c=p/software/uk/latest/index_test.jsp&ct=110032

‘Fight Night Round 4’ is the champion of the All Formats Chart for a second week as another EA Sports title ‘Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10’ fails to land the knockout blow, debuting at No2.

There are now 5 EA Sports games in the All Formats Top 20 covering boxing, golf, tennis, fitness and football. However, it is ‘Fight Night Round 4’ which is proving by far the most popular and despite a 35% drop in sales it still manages to outsell Tiger Woods (new this week on PS3, XB360, Wii MotionPlus, PSP and PS2) by 1.64 to 1. Activision’s ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ (+30%) shifts up from No6 to No3 in its second week of release, ahead of ‘Wii Fit’ (-2%) and ‘UFC 2009: Undisputed’ (-3%) both non-movers at No’s 4 and 5 respectively. There are a total of 3 new games in the All Formats Top 10 with Ubisoft’s ‘Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood’ riding into town at No6 and ‘EA’s ‘Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince’ conjuring up a modest debut at No10. ‘The Sims 3’ (-21%) falls 4 places to No7, while another previous All Formats No1, Activision’s ‘Prototype’ (-34%) also drops, slipping 6 places to No8.

As Wimbledon draws to a close Sega’s ‘Virtua Tennis 2009’ (+8%) remains in the Top 10 at No9, while competitor ‘Grand Slam Tennis’ (+6%) from EA, holds on to No11.

Tiger Wii with the lowest opening of all three versions ? Not expected.

The Wii version has traditionally debuted with the lowest opening week sales:

2008 (behind 360 and PS3):

2007 (behind 360, no PS3 version on chart - probably hadn't sold through enough consoles by then)

Does Tiger Woods 2010 for the Wii come bundled with the Wii Motion+ in Europe? Or is the Wii Motion+ only bundled (so far at least) with Grand Slam Tennis in Europe?

I figure Europe got it if Australia did.

my theory? the majority of PS3 owners are casual gamers and thats why you have poor sales for many PS3 games, unless the games are called Call of Duty. this is the only explanation!

Ah ok, thanks for the info to the both of you :)

But ye, as JonnyBrad said, The Wii version of Tiger Woods 2010 will probably outsell the PC, the PS3 and the Xbox 360 version when it is all said and done, i agree :)

Infamous was released a bit before (was it 1 or 2 weeks or so?) than Prototype. Maybe this affects the sales a bit and maybe this is why prototype are selling better than Infamous that we can see in these charts, but i dont know :\ Or it could probably also be that blood sells that -viper- mentioned :)

Do you mean poor sales compared to the Xbox 360? If so, i think that the bigger userbase with the Xbox 360 has something to do with that the Xbox 360 usually sells more games. But ye, maybe there are some casual gamers that have a PS3 too as you say, i agree :)

EDIT: I added some text.
