Shots are 32-13 after 2, but still only 2 goals for the Pens. Expecting another 2 before the end of this one. They hit two posts in the second, and Garon's made some important stops. Can't hold 'em forever. Pens need that third goal. I never trust them when they're two up.

Edit: And of course...this one looks like it's going to be a MAF shutout. (For those not in the know, a "MAF shutout" means that he gives up one in the third...usually, the goal happens with under three minutes to go, but it was with more time on the clock today)
 
And there it is. A few bad breaks, and the Pens are in shock trauma mode.

Just goes to show that a game can turn in less than five minutes. No lead is safe in this league.

Pens still deserve this one. They've dominated most of it, and need to get back to doing what made them successful in the first and second. Looks like we might need that Neal hat-trick afterall. Or a Malkin goal.
 
BAM. Malkin says "fuck you." Only a matter of time. He's been knocking on the door all game, and has looked to be on the verge of a hot streak, even when the Pens had lost 6 in a row.

Sharks need the win tonight, prove their recent play is for real. Nemo usually plays really well against the Hawks so there's that but Lord Toews always scares me.

Geno continues climbing the scoring charts. Now he sits at 51 points, and is only 1 behind H. Sedin, with 8 fewer games played.

We're never going to agree on this. Let's just leave it at this: I'm going to enjoy watching him pile up the points in Calgary and watching Bourque be a bust in Montreal, both of which should be the final nail in Gauthier and Gainey's coffins.

Won't happen this season. Yzerman basically came out and said it's not happening and there's no market for goaltending right now. I'll be shocked if either Schneider or Bernier isn't Tampa's goaltender next year though.

Yeah, he hasn't really been all that effective. Still gets points, but doesn't make the same plays. Part of it right now might be having to adjust to wearing the cage/visor.
 
Habs are going to get stretched big time tonight. Razorskin :_( Then again, I saw the Habs/Rags play in November and Habs beat them 4-0, so who knows?......

I did. Best he's looked since 2010. I never watched the Flames play in 2008-2009, but their PP with Iggy on the left half wall and Cammy on the right half wall setting eachother up for one-timers is fucking scary. Its too bad the Habs never had a right handed shot sniper.
 
Oh man, I might be in Montreal with my dad from March 2nd to March 4th, and we'll want to watch Leafs and Habs at the Bell Centre on Saturday March 3rd... I'm so giddy just thinking about being inside the Bell Centre.

How easy is it to find tickets on game day for a Habs game? We know we're going to overpay.
