At least Arkham Knight has the best water graphics in a game yet. RIP MARIO WiiU

Despite the myriad of issues Arkham Knight has, there is one bright spot: this game has the best looking water effects I have ever seen. What makes it more impressive is that it's done on UE3 which is known for having some of/ the worst water of any engine. This reminds me of the time I played Crysis 2 and saw the water in New York harbour, I never thought I'd be as impressed by a game's water again.

I'm sure MARIO WiiU is off somewhere having a seizure right now.

Looking at it, it looked to have some UE4 post-processing stuff going on, but yeah, now that you mention it, the logo on the startup splash is UE3 (also, UE4 is still just a baby). They had to have done some major rip-and-replace on parts of the engine. Almost makes me wonder if they included some UE4 libraries as development carried on and they saw some of the UE4 features. That or used A TON of custom code.
