I think the Elite controller looks better. But then again, it's not about the looks for these kinds of peripherals I guess.

But will it cut out in the middle of a tournament?
:P
edit: Those grips look bad even in the heavily photoshopped promo images.

Isn't the whole point of a third party is that it's cheaper?

No, not in the case of these. Just like arcade sticks, Razer wants theirs to be at a competitive price.

I wish people would stop thinking of these as regular controllers when they're designed for a specific niche.

After the Onza, I don't even know why Razer is trying to make controllers any more. The Onza looked so damn promising and turned out to be a giant pile of shit.

Isn't one of the major selling points of the XB1 Elite controller it's build quality and durability? Unless Razer plans on fixing that issue, this whole exercise seems pointless, especially since they have the same list price.

No?

Almost all of them have been because they never had a good history and gamers will only buy first party peripherals so it doesn't make sense to invest in something that no one will buy, but that's not why third parties exist.

A lot could come from third parties. I knew some PS3 gamers who wanted a controller more like 360 and vice versa, and I'm pretty sure there were PS3 controllers with a 360 layout but since it was third party no one wanted it. That's what third parties are for, to offer options the first party doesn't.

I just want to feel the new elite controller. It looks like it has a nice grippy texture on the handles. I don't even want it for the rear buttons.

One day I hope Razer makes a product that is neutral coloured.

I can't fucking stand the neon green/black combo. It's has '90's edginess' written all over it.

thats fine and all, but who the fuck needs these things.Gimme dem half price just fine controllers.

Also, has anyone had a controller just straight up slip out of their hands? Why the need for grips lol

Ugly as all hell and if I'm buying a $150 controller, it's gonna be the MS Elite controller.

That said, I'm happy that this is a thing. I wonder if it'll work with Microsoft's Elite controller app, probbaly not, so maybe Razor will make their own.

this isn't for you peasants, its for those elite esports athletes

the green colour reminds them of all the cash on the line and improves their game

one of those slidey buttons is actually a hidden compartment with space for an adderall pill

The Elite at least looks like it is higher quality (I haven't tried it so can't say how it feels).

The images of the Razor one make it look like some discount mad catz trash.
