Thanks to Aksys for keep bringing more and more quality otome titles to the West.
Thanks Otomate, Idea Factory and Idea Factory International for helping making this possible.
Huge thanks to MidnightRain for all the help with the graphics and banners.
Huge thanks to pariah164 for suggesting the OT title. Also, thanks to Miss Britney Spears for the hit Toxic.
And a super, mega, hyper thanks for all of you otome fans for being such a dedicated fanbase, I hope you enjoy this OT and pick up this fantastic game.

None of the guys in this are really doing anything for me, I think I'm waiting for Norn9 :(

Believe me, you'll fall for Lupin during the first hour of the game. It should be Aksys slogan: "Fall for Lupin in the first hour or your money back guaranteed!".

Nice OT, though now I'm upset that not that song's stuck in my head D:

If anyone has any questions about the game, I can try to answer them, I've been working through it over this past week for review and I'm almost done. I'm currently finishing up the requirements to unlock the last path, which aren't hard but I don't wanna explain for (possible?) spoilers :p

EDIT:

"Impey Barbicane"? Really?

All of the characters are based off "Impey Barbicane"? Really?[/QUOTE]"]some novel/story or another.

Well they're all literary characters. So, nothing wrong with him :P.

I recognized all the other names, but I haven't read Jules Verne so "Barbicane" passed me by. Still sounds like a weird name, but I guess I can't blame that on Japan.

Edit: She's still wearing clothes, that's why he can whisk her away.

Come to think of it, how can she still wear clothes? Wouldn't the poison melt them away? Or does it only affect flesh?

According to this review, she has to wear special clothing.

Hmm.

When the guard comes in to kidnap her, it’s clear she’s been in one room, sitting and sleeping, for an extended period of time.

So if she's been living alone in this isolated mansion for two years, how has she survived? Has someone been coming to supply her with food and water? The premise is intriguing, but it immediately opens up so many questions!

That's part of the charm, having to unravel all the mysteries thrown at you throughout the game.

hmmmmm

lupin or van helsing

but there's also victor for his seiyuu

decisions, decisions

if I get around to starting this though lol

Lupin is too mainstream, but that didn't stop me from falling for him. That said, I'm on my way to the end of the game and I guess I'm stuch with Impey, which is not too bad.

Why did every game I want this year come out in a three month period? :/

I was content to put this off for awhile, but now I don't know if I want to wait...

Don't wait, get it. For its own game, it's also a great visual novel, even for those that don't enjoy otome.

So is the main character a silent protagonist/empty vessel?

No, which I'm more than happy. She starts quiet, but she grows during the game.

I really do want to get it. It doesn't help though that I just bought two another games I was planning to wait on (Legend of Legacy and Tales of Zestiria) and that Stella Glow and Yokai Watch come out soon, among other things. This fall is so damn expensive.

Thank you for making the OT!

I'm very excited for the game. Hopefully I get it tomorrow, but I haven't even been charged yet and niches games sometimes tend not to even arrive in Canada on release date.

I have the physical version preordered as a surprise for my wife. Looking forward to picking it up tomorrow as she just finished Amnesia and Hatoful Boyfriend and has been hungry for another Otome game

Same. And I was super busy for the first month of that period too, so now I'm playing catch up.

I bought it to support more otoge/VNs coming out here, though. Looking forward to when I can finally play it...

And hoping that the one thing I've been spoiled for is something you learn sooner rather than later, though I'm guessing it's not. :x

May I ask what you were spoiled on? I'm curious :o You can PM me if you're worried about others spoiling themselves on accident.

I'm glad everyone is so stoked to play Code: Realize :)

I hope everyone enjoys it!

And don't forget, Norn9: Var Commons comes out in two weeks as well ;)
(US 11/3 phys/digi, EU 11/4 digi only)

Lupin is best husband-o

Nice OT Shizuka!

Won't be able to play much until Thursday, but really looking forward to it. Excited for Saint-Germain :D

I'll PM you, sure. I really don't want to drop it in the first page of the OT if it is indeed something really big, hah.

Well, fuckberries.

Just called my GameStop, and they said their game shipment arrives tomorrow at around noon, and if C:R comes in, they'll call me. If it doesn't arrive, I will say screw my preorder and download it digitally. I am playing this game the day it comes out, shipping delays and Grace Chen Time be damned.

Dat otome passion~ It melts my heart :')

On another note, I am curious to see what guy is the most popular with the US audience~

Only got around to playing this for about 30 minutes so didn't even clear the prologue yet but enjoyed what little I saw.

Very nice voices, I like the little glossary tidbits as you move through the story. The main character is interesting. Definitely feel like I want to know her more.

Lupin is so dashing~

Any idea on the length of this game, or a single play through?

The first playthrough took me about... 8-10 hours? I read kinda fast, though.

Subsequent playthoughs seem to take anywhere from 3-5 hours. There's some stuff, like choosing what chapter to start from after a successful playthough and rewinding dialogue back to choices that make replays quite easy, and I can be on the next character's path in minutes.

So, I'm a straight guy, and I've never played any Otome game before. But this game seems so well made (along the lines of Norn9), and interesting that it really catches my attention. Also, I really like Visual Novels. Always been a fan of nice and well told stories.
So, I have a question, would I feel in any way put down by the reverse harem thing, or would I be genuinely hooked by the story itself?
Thanks

Eh, I'm a girl and I play a bunch of typical harem VNs, and it doesn't really affect me. If you're interested in the characters/story and don't mind some romance (like any typical VN that involves love interests), then there shouldn't be a problem.

Hm.. I think I'll try it then, thanks for the tip ^_^
