Hello everyone :).

Edit: Just to clarify, this is a week long sale that will end next Tuesday (December 8th when the store updates again), so if you want the games, you have a week to get them at the sale price. Sorry for not posting this right away, but will update the top post as I read through the thread :).

Edit 2: Posting something Rated-G said in this thread, as it gave good advice on two games part of this sale :).
Cars 2 is actually pretty decent. I thoroughly enjoyed platinuming it. It has some interesting game types and controls about as well as you could hope. It has split screen as well, which makes trying to get the starting line boost really funny when on the couch together.

Don't waste your time with Epic Mickey 2. I wanted so badly to like that game and finish it, but there are a plethora of progression stopping bugs, I had to restart the game like four times and finally I just gave up. Apparently the trophies are super hard and finicky as well if that's what you're into.

Edit 3: Another comment was very helpful :D. This one covers the PS1 Bugs Life game for those that are interested in it. Thank JazzmanZ for the heads up :).

it's a interesting 3D puzzle platformer with a bit of Banjo-kazooie like collecting, you have a berry throwing weapon you can upgrade via coins scatters around there level, there's also 100 seeds, and F L I K emblem for completion to unlock *ahem* movie scenes.

Edit 4: Last edit for the day, tryptobphan said explained what the Brave PS3 game is about and really good tip considering the game is 5 bucks during this sale :).

For $5, Brave is a great and fun game. If you like twin-stick shooters/Robotron 84 type games, then it's great. Obviously, if you play it on Normal or less, then it's super easy for a seasoned gamer, but it's perfect when playing co-op with a new gamer or family. If you play it on the hardest difficulties, then it can definitely present a modest challenge for a seasoned gamer. Highly recommended. Check out the Classic Game Room review below:

I noticed when looking through NA PSN Store's weekly deals tab I saw a 'Disney Day Sale' and it includes a number of games:

PS4:
-Disney Infinity 3.0 Digital Edition: 14.99
-Frozen Free-Fall: Snowball Fight - Flurry (DLC of some kind): 2.50

PS3:
-Cars 2 The Game: 5.00
-Disney Infinity 3.0 Digital Edition: 14.99
-Disney Universe: 5.00
-Epic Mickey 2 PS3: 5.00
-Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: 5.00
-Phinas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension: 5.00
-Split/Second: 5.00
-Toy Story 3: 5.00
-Toy Story Mania: 5.00
-Brave The Game: 5.00

PS1 Classics (Playable on PS3, PS Vita and PSP)
-Hercules (PS1 Classic): 1.50
-Lilo and Stitch (PS1 Classic): 1.50
-Return to Neverland (PS1 Classic): 1.50
-Emperor's New Grove (PS1 Classic): 1.50
-Little Mermaid II (PS1 Cassic): 1.50
-A Bugs Life (PS1 Classic): 1.50
-Toy Story Racer (PS1 Classic): 1.50

PSP/PS Vita:
-JellyCar 2: 0.75
-Lego Pirates of the Caribbean (PSP Version): 2.50
-Split/Second PSP: 5.00
-Tron Evolution PSP: 5.00

I feel that this is thread worthy as many of the PS1 Disney games are high quality, with Hercules being a short but fun 2D action/platformer and Toy Story 2 being a real PS1 Classic (one of the best platformers of that era and a great title from Travelers Tales).

Split/Second is a fantastic racer as well and getting a great deal on Infinity 3.0 as if you are only getting one playset, it costs 5-10 bucks less than retail.

Here is the link to the sale page and get some great Disney titles :D.

Only 15 dollar for the digital edition of Disney Infinity 3.0?? That's an incredible deal, but can you play everything without having the physical starter figurines?

It is part of the sale :l; listed in my opening post and its in the sale link. I clarified that its a NA PSN Sale with the thread title, so hopefully I didn't confuse anyone :(.

Ah your right, seems I missed it, still a quality game even if 100%-ing it is total bullcrap

Just a heads up: There was a Game Awards sale section with nothing in it around 2PM EST and which is no longer accessible. I'm not sure if anything will come of it, but perhaps it was another sale that they fired off early by mistake.

Toy Stoy 3 for PS3 is legitimately good and I can't believe it's not a part of this sale.

It's essentially the progenitor to Disney infinity's toy box mode.

EDIT: Nevermind found it on the store itself.

I made a mistake and forgot to put it in with the rest of the list; sorry guys :(.

Dang, just brought my copy of infiinity 3.0. still haven't opened, I'd rather buy the figures I want and say to heck with the starter bundle.

Considering you need the Starter Pack to actually play the base game, the price end's up being pretty close to the same.

Can't speak to any of the other games' quality but Toy Story 2 is great, well worth picking up for anyone who wants a decent 3D platformer.

No sadly; its meant for people that own the portal and a figure(s).

Thankfully, you can find a portal used for around 5 bucks and the figures used are quite cheap (1.0 figures range from 3 bucks-9 bucks).

You need the 3.0 Playsets (the three Star Wars ones, Inside Out, Expansion Disks (Raceway and Takeover), ect) to access that content though.

You and play any toybox with the core digital version and a figure though.

no Cars 1 game? i rented that back in the day and it was legit decent. the story actually took place after the movie.

I don't think I've played outside of the toybox since 1.0. Did hear that these games have better single player though.
3 improved overall gameplay for sure. Can't say about the quality of the play sets, but from the different previews I have seen, it's leagues better than 2.0s garbage play sets.

they actually already announced a game awards related sale for psn, xbox, steam sales for thursday. they probably just accidentally put something up early.

Toy Story 2 is legit good

i wanna throw my hat in for Brave which was a lot better than I expected. a little repetitive but the twin stick shooter arenas linked by platforming sections is a cool concept id like to see some indie dev tackle. a decent diversion for five bucks

Okay, will edit that out of my post then.

Saw gameplay of it and it looked somewhat like Crash. Sorry for the mistake :(.

Don't edit it out. It does look like Crash. It's nowhere near as good as Crash, but you know who might enjoy the Lilo and Stitch game? People who don't care about Crash but would give it a shot because they like Stitch as a character.

It's a mediocre game and fun enough for new gamers to try. I'd let my family play it and I know they'd have fun.

Toy Story 2 is great, I recommend it to anyone. I can also confirm that it is playable on Vita but I guess it must need to be transfarred from a PS3.

Trying the demo long-ago always felt it was visually impressive but most of the Disney games were

Just to warn you guys Disney Universe has an unobtainable plat unless you have four PS3 controllers (do PS4 controllers work with game does anyone know? Because I have two of each)

I would also like to hear opinions of Cars 2 and Brave as I'm thinking of picking them up. Thanks.

So if I get Infinity I need to get a portal and the play sets in order to actually use the game? Does getting it this way make sense and save money?

Lego Pirates of the Caribbean is worth a shot, definitely my favorite of the Lego games. (Even if it still has the problem of some boooring levels in the middle.)
