This seems like a huge amount of players. Especially when RE.net only tracks Resident Evil Remaster HD (PS3/360/XB1/PS4/PC), Resident Evil Revelations (PS3/360/WiiU/PC), Resident Evil Revelations 2 (PS3/360/XB1/PS4/PC), and Resident Evil 6 (PS3/360/PC) across all platforms (I believe Resident Evil 0 should be added soon). So that's not counting any of the other Resident Evil games that came out last gen. I know the Resident Evil series is huge for Capcom but this seems pretty nuts, even when across all platforms. Since the numbers there as you can tell are separate from RE.NET registered users, and I don't think there are almost 10 million people sitting on the website lurking. Especially when the forums aren't exactly heavy traffic like say GAF. I've been checking the site and can't find any more info on what Users Online entails.
So is Resident Evil really just this popular or are they probably just throwing random numbers up there? Such as maybe counting everyone who has been online in these games at one point or another? If that's the case seems odd to label it as "Users Online". Also the numbers haven't changed after a few refreshes so I don't know at which point they update.
