The challenge is to finish 3 or more games a month. What counts as finishing a game can sometimes be fuzzy, so go with what you're satisfied with. There are no hard rules.
I find that having this goal can be a good reminder to pick up some old saves, and motivation to continue games through the occasional frustrating times.
Please post your goals for the month, and please share your triumphs and setbacks and impressions of the games as the month goes by.
How Long to Beat is a big help, giving me a good idea of how much longer a game will take.
Backloggery can be used to keep track of the games you have and haven't finished, to prevent a game from falling through the cracks.
Does anyone have other tools they use?
52 Games. 1 Year. 2016. is a thread for if you're looking for a bigger challenge.
Good luck to everyone chipping away at their backlog.

As for me, I finished:
Firewatch: Finished on the 12th. I didn't love it, dialogue was good though. Watching others make different choices improved my appreciation for the game.
Middle Manager of Justice: Finished on the 16th. Played on a phone, the interface wasn't very good for it (eg putting party members into battle, which happens often, involves scrolling four slots, only two of which are visible at any time), but the slight prodding towards microtransactions weren't bad.
Layers of Fear: Finished on the 19th. I started thinking its horror was effective, but it was reduced by there usually not being any danger.
The Witness: Finished on the 29th, all but one area. It's almost definitely going to be one of my ten favourites this year, but also one of my ten favourites from recent years. It is challenging, surprising and beautiful.
