That's a lot of shelf space and Japanese publishers like Square Enix and even Sega have a fair bit of very Japanese games on the way. Hell, Nintendo's 2016 is essentially filled with nothing but that. Could be an interesting next couple years if anime games "stick" again in the west.

Yeah, they're tiny Funko figures. They've got Soul Eater and Attack on Titan in the assortment, among others.
Looking at the display, stuff from Bamco. I don't know if it's more than that though.

Ehhhhh only about half of those look passable. Ryuk looks good. The rest are meh to awful.

I just noticed they all suffer from 'American Kirby is Hardcore' syndrome, which is probably why they're so uniformly off-putting. Except for the one that is literally a death god.

You are right! Even Chopper has angry eyebrows. They are still going to sell lots off them, POP collectors are kind of crazy.

I'm confused it says, "buy game and anime movie" but the POS contains manga. I'm sure it counts but seems needlessly confusing like excluding Avatar and the last unicorn (no seriously the last unicorn was a real debate point back in the day with back and fourths along the lines of; "it's western", "but its good", "still western", "well your Japanese anime is drawn by Koreans", "it's still for a Japanese audience though", "Usylus 31 was for a French audience yet that counts as anime" etc etc).
You know I feel really out of touch with modern anime given I actually recognize the characters in this series in this volume but not the ones in the leading volume 1 (which is where you think you need to make a good impression, then again maybe best buy are giving these away for free for a reason). The cynic in me is like they should put Vegeta and Picollo in series 1 instead but that would make buying the blind bags worse if you only wanted the DBZ characters as your chances of getting one would drop massively.Season 2 is much better:

I think its more a licencing issue. All the characters from this wave (The one you recognize) are from the same Magazine, Shonen Jump, while the others are not. As to why this one was second, well, I guess they got the license later, after the success of the first one.
