So I just beat this game and I just really wanted to share how impressed I was with this game. When a mobile dev say's they'll bring console quality gaming to mobile it can be easy to scoff at them , but I think the great dev's at Rayark have done exactly that.

This games history is pretty interesting, it once started out as an Xbox game, but then they opted to making it for mobile. Some of that console dna is very apparent in this game from the sheer polish, content and quality it offers.

Controls

The big thing that pushes people away from action games on mobile is touch controls. But the devs have managed to make it work amazingly. It feels very nice and responsive, I haven't felt my hands cramped and they also added controller support if you really need buttons.

Graphics
You can look at the gifs above, but seeing it on screen, it looks fantastic. Very crisp and the game run's very fluid, they really pushed the visuals while keeping performance in check.

Content

Game was a steal for $10, not only is the campaign lengthy (7-9 hours) and challenging but they also added a new mini campaign with a new character dlc free and a wave defending/ Boss Rush mode.

Anything else?

The story was decent enough, the voice acting was good, and the level designs were nice varied some with different objectives. The music is great just listen

The constant support of this game made me really respect the folks at Rayark, they are the few dev's that try to push mobile gaming quality forward. They are known for their great rythm games like Deemo and Cytus and now Implosion is another IP under their belt. I'm really glad the game sold so well that a sequel is in the making

And they're also making a anime movie. With the likes of John Kurlander and Stefanie Joosten (Voice of Quiet MGS V) and many other on board

This game gave me hope for mobile gaming when it came out, but the rest of the industry didn't follow suit.

Still, it plays pretty good and has great production value. If you're gonna play a game on your phone that's not emulated, definitely start with this.
