This week's No.1 comes despite a 41% drop in sales week-on-week. Grand Theft Auto V saw a 23% sales drop but still managed to climb one place to No.2. The biggest sales drop suffered this week was by Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which saw its sales halved but still retained a place in the Top 10 at No.10. Interstingly, one in five copies of Zelda were bought for Wii U, proving some people do still make use of Nintendo's troubled console.

Only three titles in the Top 40 saw a week-on-week increase in sales, but at most this was 10%. The games were Hallo 5: Guardians (10%), Uncharted 4 (4%) and Mario Kart 7 (2%). Even so, there were plenty of chart-climbers, including two re-entries in the Top 10. Horizon: Zero Dawn rose from No.11 to No.6, while Mass Effect: Andromeda climbed from No.12 to No.9.

Last week's big new release Yooka-Laylee saw sales drop by 72% slipping from No.6 to No.15 - out of the Top 10 altogether.

It's great to see my Longlegs reference to Horizon Zero Dawn is still applicable almost two months later.

Waiting on the individual charts. It's probably in third place, same as last week.
 
Real shame about the low entry for The Fire Fades Edition, been hearing good things about the DLC (well, the second mostly) perhaps it's series fatigue at this point.

I guess the fire simply...faded?

It would be weird if Nintendo doesn't have restock planned for this Friday with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe coming out.
 
Re-examining the link posted by Mpl90, it seems Horizon jumped up those places without actually having a WoW increase, says a lot about the state of the charts atm!

They do.

It's mentioned on their website that more hardware will be dispatched for delivery on April 28th, MK8D's release date, so it's probable that this will apply to UK retailers in general.

When Deep Silver underestimated the 3DS releases of SMTIV:A and 7th Dragon in December, they had a reprint a couple of months later. I suspect they've got a clause when printing games for an initial small shipment and an option for a second run if demand is high, on top of severely underestimating interest in Persona 5. Being cagey with runs of niche RPGs in Europe I can understand though.
 
It's got to be fantastic mood at Guerrilla Games right now, they've got a real hit on their hands. Horizon should overtake Splatoon as the biggest new exclusive IP this gen - Splatoon is sitting currently around 4.5 million and at this pace HZD is going to out sell that amount either in May or early in the summer.

How much of Horizon has been sold up til now? Also, I doubt it's bigger than Overwatch.

Pretty slow week with just about every game down wow, that seems like good news for mk8d and prey in a few weeks especially if the demo is good

We only know the first two week milestone of 2.6 million sold through units worldwide.

It should be close to if not already exceeding the 4.5 million number comparison seeing how it keeps trucking along nicely in these UK charts.

10k is more than enough to chart in the UK Top 10. Chart positions don't mean much, especially in the UK.

And isn't HZD being giveaway? I remember reading something about it.
