remaster if old

That can be a placeholder date, considering how the thing is presented.

Even if it's true, the game has been ruined with microtransactions for guns already. I stopped playing it because of that. I don't recommend.

You already missed out. The first few weeks was OG. Now it's full of microtransaction shite.

Avoid it.

Came here for this. Bought it at launch, played a lot until new weapons inside microtransaction drops, stopped and sold it when they added paid DLC.

It's also been cheaper with IW here, seen it multiple times around 30/35€ for the Legacy Edition, and on X1 you can buy it used.

Yup, such a shame. It was great playing it again.

But of course they had to ruin it.

Because people who buy a remaster OBVIOUSLY want a new experience, not the one they remember.

Lines up with the Gamefly listing that appeared earlier this month, which said June 20th.

Tuesday release for the US, Friday release for EU.

Yep, avoid it. The first few weeks were pretty great because it was like the original with better graphics. Now, Raven has taken it upon themselves to push micro transactions and change the game mechanics, namely - they've removed the timer in HC TDM. That to me is unacceptable. I traded the game shortly after they put that in.

How do you trade in a digital download?

This game got its own Paid DLC? lol... of course it would be eventually sold on its own. But oh boy, would sales for IW have been non-existant if it was from day 1.

Lol $40 would be madness

I'd just wait for the double pack to be clearanced out x on PS4 you can just buy a digital code and trade in the base game

Legacy on PC is 80€.
Infinite Warfare is 60€
Update to Legacy option is 30€
Now the standalone game is 40€.

What the hell Activision.

I agree with some of the sentiment here. It's been ruined with micro transactions and on top of that it doesn't even feel like the same game with the difference in netcode or whatever it is. I bought it for that game because I loved MW and MW2 the best but somehow ended up enjoying IW more than this "remaster."

Too little too late, don't support this crap if it is truly out standalone on that date. Adding supply drops and new weapons to the game is just typical of Acti.

Multi is pure shit. Don't even bother. They could of just left it the way it was from the start and it could of been great, but they ruined it.

Wouldn't touch it. $40, filled with loot box micro transactions that include cosmetic items AND weapons, and a 9 year old DLC that costs $15.

BTW, the arguably best automatic assault rifle in the game is a loot box weapon. Yeah.

I knew they added microtransactions, but I didn't know it was so bad. Are people blowing it out of proportion because they think their presence in any form "taints" a game, or do they actually throw off the gameplay balance? I've said for a while I'd consider buying MW1 Remaster if they released it standalone, but if it's the latter, they can fuck right off.

Was waiting for this. Until they added microtransactions and paid DLC. Now it's an easy pass.

To think if they released this in January they could have bamboozled everyone into paying for it, then added all the microtransaction stuff.

As someone who still plays MW:R (on occasion, don't have a lot of time these days), is it 'ruined' purely because of the supply drops/microtransactions or have they made other changes I'm not aware of ? For example from what I've seen/used of the DLC weapons none of them are as good as the base weapons, the M16 is still god tier, and nothing feels overpowered at least on the DLC front.

Genuinely curious here.

You talking about the XM-LAR ? Good weapon but its recoil is fucking insane compared to the M16/AK47.
