In this thread i would like to share something that i find interesting: People talking about the "current" state of the industry... Many years ago.

I have two to share:

G4 Pre-E3 2005 coverage (Adam Sessler, Geoff Keighley, Morgan Webb, Peer Schneider and Kevin Pereira).

"The day i have to make an 'Micro Payment' to buy my avatar an shirt, i'm going to hang myself"

Gametrailers' Bonus Round from 2006 (Geoff Keighley, Jason Rubin, Michael Pachter and Grant Collier).

"World of Warcraft works, can five Warcrafts work? Somebody should be saying: Warcraft worked, what else could we do that would be massively multiplayer that isn't a World of Warcraft rip-off?"

Ps.: Then Pachter mentions Huxley, that never actually came out - it's funny how many WoW Rip-offs we had in that 2006~2010 era. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huxley_(video_game)

"Is this online thing, i mean how mainstream is it?"

There's a lot in just these two videos, but i would love to see more stuff from you guys :)

I don't usually make threads (too scare of getting banned), but i really find this stuff really interesting. I took a long time to came up with the thread title, so yeah.

Share stuff you got!

I don't really have anything to contribute, but these are pretty cool. It's always fun to see how things were different 12 years ago

We lost some good games because they took a turn hard right on WoW street when they were doing fine with their own thing.

Unfortunately nothing to contribute, but I love this idea for a thread. Subscribed. Can't wait to read more.

The UK had a 'magazine on videotape' at one point - only made it to two issues, I think. One-word title, I *think* from EMAP Images? Can't quite remember the name of it, but if I can, I'll see if it's on Youtube.

To give you an idea of when it's from, pretty sure it had a review of Last Ninja 3 on it.

Edit: GOT IT! "Click"
Issue 1 - A look at 1991-era VR, here!
Issue 2

Edit2: And this merits a couple of posts over on the OT, because that's Jake Wood from Eastenders.
