Well, they're half right about that. I don't think I know a lot about animation but I try to follow the good animators and learn more abot creative process behind it. Maybe the tag is appropiate...

Lucky Star is one of the most popular anime in Japan right now, beating all of your favorites by miles. I don't think your particular taste proves anything about the show.
