Look at the quality difference in image output between the 360 and PS3 versions of Need for Speed: Pro Street in this video. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/27731.html
Can someone explain to me in laymans terms, why the 360 puts out a consistently clearer, sharper and more high resolution image than the PS3 does, with seemingly every game?
I know Dark10x got ragged on for arguing with the dev from IW, but the same is true for that Call of Duty 4. Despite IW's claims that the two games are identical, that simply is not the case. The game consistently runs worse on the PS3 and it has lower resolution texture work. Based on this video, provided by BlimBlim it looks like Assassins Creed has yielded similar results.

Is it about time to settle this argument? Is it time to stop suggesting that the gap in quality across both platforms is due to developer incompetence and start facing the reality that the 360 is just the stronger, more agile, more developer-friendly platform?
