Why is it that most black people are muscular?

No, i'm not being rascist or anything. I just wanted to know how come most black people are muscular (aside from women (women is ok anyways)). Seriously, every time i see a black dude it seems like he works out at the gym every day. I really doubt every black person works at the gym (i just see a couple of them at the gym i go to).

Today i was walking and saw this black dude in a wheel chair and holy shit, he was really strong. Whenever i see either a white or hispanic person in a wheelchair they are either really fat or skinny.

maybe it was an nba player who got injured

Well most black people have been in prison and when you're behind bars all you have to occupy your time is to convert to Islam and exercise. Plus orange Hi-C and fried chicken are natural muscle enhancers.

wtf:lol not even a serious answer

I'm not being mean or rascist or anything, i'm just wondering. Heck i wish i could look real muscular like them

The answer is slavery. Slaves were selectively 'bred' (I know, it's distasteful to even say, but it's true) to favour stronger, more muscular men. Thus, African American men and Caribbean men specifically are often more likely to easily develop muscle mass. Like any genetic trait, it's a question of how likely it is to be expressed when compared to another group, not some sort of universal rule.

If i was in your ignore list you wouldn't have seen this thread

Anyways this thread went to shit real fast, dammit. You guys can't give serious answers.
its because you asked a question that has no answer. black people are not naturally more muscular. they are normal human beings like the rest of us.

no, most definitely you aren't making a sweeping generalization on a group of people based on your own small sampling of an experience with them!

:lol

I guess this is a serious answer.

Trust me guys, i work out 6 times a week and i don't look half as good as some of them do.

Likely what you're seeing has to do with where you hang out. I see lots of skinny and fat black men...not all are muscular by any means. Anything outside that like there being more muscular black men per black population versus muscular white men...I'd have no idea. I see muscular people of all races at the gym.

edit:

That's your genetic disadvantage. It's not necessarily based on race, either.

It's most likely the overall genetics. This doesn't apply to African American only though, as from my own experience from working out and such, people of Russian and German descent also seem to be rather stronger than many others. This is just from personal experience in sports, the gym, and martial arts. Overall, could be just random coincidence, who knows. But I've noticed this quite a bit.

Just digging a hole... :D

Dude if you go into a restroom and see a black guy with a big schlong that doesn't mean every black guy has a.....Wait a second...

I was being serious. I think the way you asked the question was a little weird, but to deny the impact of slavery and slave conditions of black populations is sorta' stupid. But, when you listen to your (white, liberal) kindergarten teacher about how we're all the same underneath, you get a generation of kids who think equality is about denying, rather than embracing or celebrating, difference.
