Could you edit one of the entries? The anime is called Tsubasa Chronicle, the manga title is Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles but that has been changed for the anime.

Personally I'm looking forward to Speedgrapher and Eureka Seven. I expect Trinity Blood to suck ass based on the source material and Tsubasa Chronicle is going to be crap simply because it's Bee Train.

I am looking forward to MAR since it's a pretty cool manga and since Flame of Recca rules. GONZO is so hit or miss that I'll at least give Speed Grapher a chance, but I won't keep my hopes up. Ichigo 100% is a pretty fun series Eureka Seven will of course be amazing. I suppose there is a chance the Tsubasa Chronicle show could be good but I've never been a huge CLAMP fan so I haven't checked out the books yet -- I'll possibly tune in for an episode. Erementar Gerad is based off a manwha title as I recall and I've never been able to get into any of those but it's relatively decent from what I've heard so there's a possibility it wont suck.

Rest will be shit more than likely. It's a definite Konex season.

I know Bee Train loves to ruin manga in their anime adaptations, but you should give them a shot with this one. TRC is a great manga, and I cannot fathom Bee Train ruining it. Sure, it's most likely going to have their trademark operatic music, but that shouldn't be too bad. Besides, .hack//sign was pretty good.

I like the manga, thus my looking forward to it, I just dont trust Bee Train with ANYTHING! Ill watch it, bute h im not expecting anything good.

.hack was fine whenever it didnt put me to sleep aka almost never :lol

What? As far as I can remember Bee Train has never done a single manga adaptatio. :lol

The problem I have with Bee Train is not that they suck (they do) but that Mashimo directs EVERYTHING in Bee Train and he's a pretty untalented hack. It's really easy to ruin CLAMP manga anyway, since just about every CLAMP anime aside from X, Angelic Layer and CCS suck ass.

I was under the impression that Avenger, Noir and .hack were manga before anime. I'm probably wrong though.

Speed Grapher looks like it might be pretty cool. And Eureka 7 is BONES, so I'm in for that.

Otherwise, nothing really grabs me. I'll wait and see what else gets buzz.

.hack//SIGN, Noir, Avenger, .hack//dusk, MADLAX are all original works by Bee Train. .hack//dusk had a manga running at the same time but it's not based on it.

Poporocrios and Meine Leibe are based on games.

Tsubasa would be the first actual manga adaptation that Bee Train does.

I'll be watching Eureka Seven of course, but I'll probably check out Speed Grapher and Tsubasa Chronicle. I know Tsubasa Chronicle is going to suck, but at least it'll have a fantastic soundtrack. Kajiura needs to move away from Bee Train and start doing soundtracks to series that aren't awful.

YEAS! Been reading the manga and a couple of months ago I actually asked here on GAF if it was being made into an anime.

And here it is!

It's about a young earthian that gets sent to another dimension where he is much stronger. This world is ruled by the "Chess" or something simular. They're "knights".. well, you get the point, different degrees of strengts. Basically it's a fighting anime with quite a good story. The second main character should be introduced in ep 1 or 2, DAMN them if they get the voice wrong!

I liked Arc the Lad, didn't care for Wild Arms. My problem is even then, when they almost have an A title with Arc the Lad (some episodes were awesome, the midshow twist was a shocker, etc) AND the ending was set up PERFECTLY by the actual Arc the Lad 2 game, they had to deliberately fuck it all up by changing the ONE bit that didn't need any changing to cheapen the entire ending and ruin it. Bee Train truly SUCKS ASS!

Which part didn't you like? I remember the ending being a tad cheesy but I did like it (for being what it was). Anyway, yeah. Arc The Lad could've been their big A title but they messed up a bit with the pacing for the show although they did some GREAT things with it.

Wild Arms had a much better conclusion IMO though. I was really surprised with how it turned out and, honestly, it was better than the games in the story department

SuckFest 2005 ahoy! Because I love each and every one of you, I'm mirroring a handful of trailers posted at Memento. I'll be pulling them down in a day or two; please keep 'em in the family, as it were.

Speed Grapher - Well...it looks okay, but I get the feeling they're trying too hard with the "we're extreme and half-nekkid and wearing bondage gear" bit. Also, there's always the question of whether this is being produced by Good Gonzo (Last Exile, Gankutsuoh) or Bad Gonzo (everything else). Here's the trailer; with all respect to Chrono's find, you can see what's going on in this one.

Hachimitsu to Clover - According to the official site, the girl is supposedly 18. I call bullshit. Still, the show has a decent sense of style, even if the music is excessively sacherine and my tolerance for "bumbling but good natured" heroines is rather low. Hey, look, it's the trailer.

Ichigo Mashimaro - Here's the question: are these grade school kids, or are they salarimen and office ladies drawn in an excessively cute style? Judge for yourself. Meanwhile, the official website gives me the fear. Edit: Looks like this isn't out until July, but in the meantime you can check out the trailer.

Eureka 7 - So far, the most promising show of the new season, with interesting (or, at least, not quite horribly generic) character designs, nice backgrounds, and a decent budget. And, hey, giant robots! Here's a five minute promo clip for the series; the first three minutes or so are interviews with the director with some stills thrown in, while the last couple of minutes are footage from the series with a voice-over going on in the background.

Sousei no Aquarion - This doesn't look bad, but it doesn't look like it'll get beyond "completely generic" either. But, hey, it's got robots in it, so it'll probably be worth watching. For the record, the sensibly dressed glasses girl pistol-whips those other two posers. Trailer a go-go.

Saikano: Another Love Story - MILK IT! MILK IT FOR ALL IT'S WORTH! This one-shot OVA looks to be as cheery as it's predecessor. I'm not sure if this is out yet or not, but there it is.

Emma - Victorian romance? This may well be the only maid show I ever watch.

Izumo - Hey, look, teenagers with swords. Yawn.

MAR - Hey, look, a shounen fighting show. Yawn. Though, I admit I'm looking forward to the sequel series, MAF.

Ichigo 100% - Romance? Fan service? Romantic fan service? Who cares.

Loveless - For the ladies! But still dull.

Trinity Blood - Kinda stylish in that "been hitting the gothic lolita pretty hard" sort of way. Eh.

Tsubasa Chronicle - Oh, fuck, it's Mokona. That's it, I quit.

Izumo is based off a hentai anime/game but is turned vanilla. It's kind of nice that it throws about a billion mythological things at you but man, it's not very good.

MAR is by Nobuyuki Anzai of Flame of Recca fame. It's ok but Anzai sucks at telling stories and his fight work was way better in Recca if you ask me.

i enjoy the manga, but whether I can stand 20 mins of Manaka ooooohing and aaaahing and then a quick panty shot im not so sure. And Satsuki probably wont be in it for ages
