But yeah, I play at my computer desk when the game is made with the PC in mind (smaller HUD, etc.) and play all the ports with a Xbox 360 controller from my couch.

I have one of these beanbag cushions but my new laptop has a ridiculously large screen and it no longer fits

My new solution is a little table and a wireless 360 controller adapter.

Same here. Then I get home and turn on my fuckawesome fast PC and all of the garbage hardware issues at work are a thing of the past.

Not really - they're just boxes that interact with your input devices.

A handheld input device is fine for the Comfy Couch (X360 controller etc.), but my solution is offering a stable surface for other input devices designed for a desk (and to reap their benefits). Keyboard and mouse combos, and their alternatives; mouselook and scroll wheels; high precision tracking and customisation - the benefits of the desk can be transformed with the Bean Bag Lap Tray-Table Thing-y!

Nah this is the best part about pc gaming, just leave a wiki link up in the background if someone comes in to see what you are doing alt tab to it and look like your super smart and just researching stuff.

The good life. I'll never understand the trauma, I guess. My home setup is nothing like my work setup, and what I do at home is nothing like what I do at work.

couch gaming kinda sucks for anything that isn't local multiplayer, though.
