Versatile - with cupholder and novelty lamp options. Use them outdoors:

Sharp knees? No problem - cushioned bean bags relieve those strains and stresses away:

Do the math:

Of course, you don't even need a Comfy Couch:

Still, a sturdy desk is better; it's the same thing, but with legs. Nevertheless, the Bean Bag Lap Tray-Table Thing-y awaits... to enhance your gaming pleasure on that Comfy Couch. Leave your excuses at the door, and enjoy the PC or any other box filled with transistors and stuff.

Price? I have no idea. I bought one for £2 almost a decade ago, from a closing down sale. Be savvy.

Or this hideous thing...

But yeah, I play at my computer desk when the game is made with the PC in mind (smaller HUD, etc.) and play all the ports with a Xbox 360 controller from my couch.

I have one of these beanbag cushions but my new laptop has a ridiculously large screen and it no longer fits :(

My new solution is a little table and a wireless 360 controller adapter.

There is no problem.

There is, some people see the cabling and machinery a hindrance. Installing, configuring, tweaking, the psychological imprint that PCs leave behind when you work all day on them.

Ignore it if you want. For me, there's nothing quite like switching the PC off, symbolizing completion of my work.

Same here. Then I get home and turn on my fuckawesome fast PC and all of the garbage hardware issues at work are a thing of the past.

So what your saying is you don't like PS3 and Xbox 360?

Not really - they're just boxes that interact with your input devices.

A handheld input device is fine for the Comfy Couch (X360 controller etc.), but my solution is offering a stable surface for other input devices designed for a desk (and to reap their benefits). Keyboard and mouse combos, and their alternatives; mouselook and scroll wheels; high precision tracking and customisation - the benefits of the desk can be transformed with the Bean Bag Lap Tray-Table Thing-y!

So the solution is to look like a complete geek.
Nah this is the best part about pc gaming, just leave a wiki link up in the background if someone comes in to see what you are doing alt tab to it and look like your super smart and just researching stuff.

The good life. I'll never understand the trauma, I guess. My home setup is nothing like my work setup, and what I do at home is nothing like what I do at work.

couch gaming kinda sucks for anything that isn't local multiplayer, though.

I prefer my command center setup to my couch that is far from my tv.

Definitely. I prefer my 360 games on my nice monitor in my nice chair where i'm all up in things rather than sitting across the room.

So you don't surf the web at home?

That's just a stereotype. Bean bags can be sassy (another stereotype):

This one is better.

Score: A-

Almost fell for it, could have used a bit more subtlety.

Bean Bag Bear wins.

I'd game from the couch more but my wireless receiver eats it when it's near my TV. I just need one of those super long HDMI cables.
