You know, considering how there were only 23k total votes for something like this, I hope Capcom has really, really low expectations for the sales of the game worldwide. :P
 
Voted for Komaki, so I'm satisfied with the outcome (though I would've been fine with Suetsugu winning instead). :lol @ Inafune coming in dead last.

Man, the one I liked ended up 8th. :\ How the heck did it end up that far down?

Don't even remember seeing the one that came 3rd before.

That's actually seems like a pretty decent amount of votes to me.
 
The only designs I liked were Suetsugu & Ishikawa's. (Kaji's is alright too.)

The winning "heroine" is so.... :/

Inafune design sense seems to be lacking.
 
So MML3 is going to have a pretty strange heroine now? :lol

I'm sorry but she looks more like a Mega Man Battle Network/Star Force reject than a Legends character.

Well, those games all sell better than Legends... so maybe that makes sense. :(

It makes me scared about what other options they'll toss to fans, and having the most unappealing to Mega Man Legends taking the cake every time.

Heaven forbid they suggest what kind of music we want for the game. I'd expect some strange jazz/rave music getting the majority of votes that would play in empty villages. :lol
 
Judging by Komaki's comment next to the picture, the Legends devteam will be taking this design and tweak it some more before putting it in the game. So I'm not worried in the slightest that it won't fit the Legends universe once the design is final.
 
Ishikawa only came in 6th? :\

I'm fine with the winner honestly, and I preferred it to the 2nd place design.

Any merit the base design has is lost to a totally awkward illustration with an awful color scheme.
 
I voted for second place. Damn, not liking how this is turning out so far. Fans don't know how to pick lol.

Seriously. I don't just mean, "I don't like it." It appears that he spent no time conceptualizing it, 30 minutes drawing it, and went 10 years back in time for its style.
 
Wow the winner sucks. She looks 7 year old. WTF?!

Early prediction though is this game will bomba. 23,000 people voted...shoulda had about 100K if the contest is world wide.
 
Guys, the fact that Inafune's design is dead last shows that the voters at least have some goddamn taste. It may have even been a joke entry to test the waters if fans can actually tell quality apart from total shit. Anyway, the winning character is clearly going to get a second pass to better fit the design of the game.
