Entertaining, but still going with Ebert over Plinkett on this one. Most of his complaints are warmed over from his last reviews.
There's some systemic problems that we already know and expect: Lucas doesn't write good dialogue, Lucas doesn't direct well or energetically, and Lucas surrounded himself with Yes Men. It's his baby and he has to keep things close to the chest and have as much control as he wants, but we all know these would have been better movies if Lucas's initial creative impulses were tempered by others.
ROTS had some of the same weaknesses, but even Lucas's seemingly-lazy, over-reliant-on-greensceen style was in much better form in this film than in others.
The highs were higher and the lows were largely mitigated. Does that bit of banter about love blinding work? No. Is it central to the film or nearly as awful as any similar scene in AotC? Hell no.
