Back in November of 2009, we had a vote on the Greatest game of all time, and I feel like now is a good time for anther vote. By waiting to the start of February instead of the beginning of November, it should of given people more time to reflect on the games from the past year or two, and specifically the games that came out during the holiday season. And while it may seem a bit early to some to do a review of such a degree again, I feel it would be interesting to see how the tastes of the overall community has shifted in only a year and a quarter.
Voting Format
While I encourage you to talk about why you voted for the games you did and what you enjoy about each and for general discussion, please keep the discussion part of your post and the voting separate. As such, I would like the tops of your posts to have the voting, and to be in this exact format. In fact, please just copy and paste it into your post, and edit it.
Please note the exact way the list is typed, and how they are numbed. It isn't "1." or "1 Game #1", or even "1:Game One" it is "1: Game One", the punctuation being in this exact way will make it far easier to sort the list. Number Colon Space, simple!
Also for the sake of making it easier to tally up the games, please simply copy and paste the games title the way it shows up on the English Wikipedia page for standardization. Use "Wario Land: The Shake Dimension" even if you are in the US, and "Star Fox 64" even if you are in Europe.
Also, for any title that shares the name with anther game (Like Sonic 2006, Prince of Persia 2008), please put the year in the title as such, "Prince of Persia (2008)". Similarly, for games that shares the same title but are significantly different from anther game that shares its name, put the Platform's acronym. For example "The Urbz (GBA)"

The Results
The Results will be presented in three ways, and the raw tally will be provided to the community in the form of a Google Docs Spread Sheet. The Three presented ways will be a count of the total number of votes, the count of the total number of #1 votes, and a weighed score that give a point value of 10 to #1, 9 to #2, and so on.
Thank you all, and happy voting!

- The game must be out before voting starts. This shouldn't be to big of a problem this time around, but I am sorry if you think Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 or any other game release in the next two weeks is one of the best 10 games ever made, you will have to till next the next voting. Also, this means no demos, a few people tried to vote for the God of War 3 Demo and I tossed their votes out.
- No compilations. I almost want to simply put "No Orange Box" since the orange box is a compilation of 5 games and about 20 or so people voted for that last time, but really, I can't think of any time a compilations would be alright to vote for ether. So no compilations.
- Obviously, no joke lists.
[*]Your list must have 10 games on it. No more, no less. You can bring up some more games, but you must at least have 10 games on it.
