It's a tech demo but the real game is probably in development by NSMBW team who doesn't currently have announced projects in development.

Yeah, that's how I feel. NSMBWii is one of the greatest videogames ever made, love it and still play it now, more of that quality will be another must own. And it already looks great!

They do not make multiple stages for a tech demo. And they also would not make a "tech demo" of a game that sold 10000 billion. Its a sequel.

All of NIntendo's "E3 2010 3DS" tech demos were released as games.
