and its picking up steam! Will we have another Twilight Princess PC port style release on our hands eventually? Well obv first it needs to get to 100% (or very close to it. 95% plus) but you know full well "the community" will get after it as soon as it gets close

Crazy I just finished the Dolphin version last month, got all 120 stars. First time I Dark Souls Raged playing a Mario game LOL! Those damned timed bubble motion control sequences and timed purple coins made me pop mad Ashwagandha. And for what?? Not even a special ending...you have to do the exact same thing with Luigi to get a "photo"!

news soon

What is point in decomp games that already have PC versions??
Just because it has a PC version doesn't mean a decomp / re-port isn't useful. You don't have the PC source either, so a decomp can allow a more modern PC version port from the decomp. You may ask "why wasn't the PC port decomped instead". It's actually a lot more difficult, as the tools used vary by a large margin vs the target consoles.

I wonder how the % of those decomp works. Is there ever regression? Or it's simply a matter of time it gets through to 100%? Roadblocks?
As someone in the middle of his own decomps, yes there can be regression. For example, I was holding onto some pretty gnarly ASM code used to boot the game and not porting it to C, just allowing the rest of the code to be linked c. Once I went back to "pick up" the remaining ASM, it broke A LOT of systems and full regression testing needed to occur and the game was unplayable until I recovered the C. It was about 2-3% of the code, but it was critical.
