Wonder if this will do better than the Indie Royale. Considering like the Humble Bundle its for charity.

As one of the tweets said, its basically a reskin of the Humble Bundle.
 
The good: People can suport charity.

The bad: I went this morning to check my bank account. I was not happy...

I was coming to post this here, but was badly beaten to the punch.

Registering with Steam is nice and all, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. I already put this bundle above the Indie Royale because of the donation options. I buy all of these Indie bundles, but the ones where I can toss more money to worthwhile causes get more money for both donations and devs.

Really disappointing that the average purchase price is $1.36 so far. :/ C'mon GAF, lets help bump it up a bit and give some more to charity (not that others don't normally donate elsewhere).

Edit - ouch, purchases doubled in the last 5 minutes, but the avg purchase price went down to $1.24. God, there are some really fucking cheap bastards out there.

inMomentum is a pretty average game, its like Mirror's Edge without the precision that makes Mirror's Edge so great. I might take a whirl though, I have 1373897397 other games to play though.

Man, the Humble bundles are the only ones I care about as they are the only ones to consistently give a shit about platforms. This one doesn't even mention what platforms the games are available on, and even *requires* a Steam account. WTF.

it tells you what platform the games are for if you click whatever game on the banner thingy.
 
Has anyone else tried to redeem their inMomentum OST? Mine appears to be in the wrong format (looks like the game CD Key, should be 8 characters separated by a dash).

Hardly. It only lists a Windows version for each of them, and then lists the spec requirements. At least Hacker Evolution: Duality has a Mac version, but it's not even mentioned on the Indie Gala site. They clearly haven't considered non-Windows platforms. It's not a big deal to most people though, just my personal beef with it.
 
Looks like you can only buy it once per email (unless you do the gmail trick). Tried buying for a friend and it was a no go, it said i already purchased it.

edit: i guess i can put my friends email in.
 
I like that they're aping the Humble Bundle format a bit more by giving money to charity and allowing you to divide how the money is split.

It is kind of a shameless copy, though.

Oh god, you mean I have to pay for these games too!? I bet they want you to have a *monitor* and *input devices* to play these things. Those fucks.
